Is it as soon as I finish my lightsaber? Curious, just cause I am finishing mytrials now, and want to do some PVP and PVE for a little bit before I run scared afraid to die!

Padawn can't lose Force XP - only Jedi XP. He loses it from the begining - even before - Initiate will lose Jedi XP if he dies. Difference is that Initiate does not get Visability (and BH going after him) while Padawn will (especially if you PvP). PvE you will a lot as you grind - but PvP? With a training LS? If you wonder what is it like get nekid and charge a group of enemies with a cdef gun!

No, what I am saying, is that I am in the Padawan trials now. Now, yesterday I died while hunting a NS Elder, but I don't have jedi xp. So am I in the hole already? Or do I only start to lose jedi xp once I have complete the padawan trials?

Being in Padawn trials means you're not a Jedi yet (not Initiate). You don't have LS, you can't get Jedi XP, therefore you can't loose it - you are not in the whole. You can fail a quest and have to restart them all tho.

YEah once you become a Jedi initiate then you will lose xp. You will, however, not gain visibility till you hit padawan. So if you die as intitiate then you like i think 4,500 xp (which trust me, is a lot untill you can hit novice lightsaber). You will get jedi initiate after you crafter your saber quest (along with tuning the crystal which follows it)

You'll be able to see the hole you're in once you start gaining jedi xp.
It'll say -4500 (+ whatever you got from the kill)once you gain a few from your first LS kill.

now everyone saying you can't gain visibility during initiate, I don't suppose you saw the reports awhile back of a few initiates that got on the terms and hunted down.. Some flaw with some activities causing visibility...

Better yet, just always be prepared...

Oh and once you start gaining jedi xp, then you can lose it. I don't think you'll go negative before then... no promise tho.
