Thread: What happens if you die when you fight mellichae

Im on branch 4 right now but the time is coming to think about fighting mellichae (i think thats how u spell it) only things is i havent seen much info on what happens if u die whilst fighting him. Could someone jus clear this up for me please if i die do i jus head back to the waypoint or must i wait for the visit again? thanks for those that reply

All your FS boxes get erased and you have to start from scratch again.

Actually, I don't know. But hopefully we'll find out soon. Is a good question.

I dont know from first hand experience. Others have posted that if you die while fighting him he will respawn in the same location. The sticky 'How to solo Mel' saying nothing about having to wait for another visit from the old man if you die.

I know for a fact that he respawns in the same location within 24 hours. I've had this happen to people I have helped with the quest before. Good luck!

you fail the mission. take a shuttle ride and you can try again right away.

One time on a Mel quest for my friend, he died. Well pretty much everyone died, save for the ppl that routed. We all gathered back up and discussed what went wrong, got buffs and headed back out to the last loc that Mel was at. He wasn't there. So my friend who's quest this was, Logged off and log on and puff there was Mel right where we left him. And don't you know he killed my friend again. So we repeated the discussion and buffs again and told my friend to stay out of the fight. He logged off and log on and puff Mel was back in the same spot. We finally finished the quest and he started his Padawan trials.
