Thread: Problems with Whip's quest and my unsatisfactory reply from a CSR

I have seen that other people have been having issues with Whip's quest to rescue the villagers. I too have had problems, in my case, on the fourth rescue, the villager spawned inside an object, and I was unable to converse with them.

So I tried logging out and loggin back in, this made matters worse, this time the villager had disappeared. So I went back to Whip and he said that i need to go and rescue the villager, ok so this is going to be a bit difficult now. I travel back to the waypoint but there is no villager. So I decide to delete the waypoint and return to Whip to get a new mission. This makes no difference, so I thinkI'll contact a CSR, they must be able to reset the missions or similar.

I explain in my ticket what has happened, and wait for a response. Eventually I get one and the solution they say was to place a camp near there to move the objects. Well this would have been hard as I am not a Scout and had no camps either. They go on to say that the mission cannot be reset. What really annoys me is that they close the ticket as well without letting me add any comments.

So I am now left having to wait for a full phase cycle again to unlock this skill, surely this is not right? They must be able to reset the mission or at least unlock the tree so that I can work on it.

Has anyone else had a similar experience and if so how was it resolved.

As per my answer to someone else having the same problem - log out for 30 minutes or so (must be long enough so that you disappear completely) Talk to Whip and he will tell you that you failed but there are others in need of rescue and he will give you a new waypoint which will hopefully be bug free (if this one is bugged rinse and repeat)

I feel your pain man.

I accidently clicked on the mission for melee defense for phase 4 when i already had it for an unlock, when i only needed melee speed to get jedi (1 branch to go) and i contacted 4 diffrent csrs and they all were stuck up telling me they cant reset missions.

Funny case though i know im being lied to since my friend about 1 month back was doing the scythe mission and it got bugged and csrs reset it for him hmm great customer service!

So i hear ya man, I cant do phase 4, and i cant do phase 1 since i unlocked that 1 doing the mission so... im stuck until phase 2...3 more weeks of doing nothing yiipy!

I managed to find your post after I posted this one. I had tried waiting 30 mins, but it didn't work the first, I logged out and left it for about 90 mins the second time and it worked. I reckon I must have logged back in before the 30 minutes the first time.

Either way it is now sorted, thanks for your help Popov

Best CSRs in the world = the community :-)

On a side note, I have always found the CSRs to be helpful to me personally, but others I know do not feel the same (One person has been waiting more than a week to get his missing lot back after redeeding his yacht.)
