I got my second old man tonight but no one is on from my guild to help me. My question is will the wp to go and find his camp still be there after the server resets after the patch?

yes it will,,, I heard of people who didn't go for a few days and still have the waypoint available... You completed the old man so there is no time restriction to do the next part of the quest...
