What does the moving red bar on the right do when experimenting for med/woundpacks?

Does it matter where you stop the bar when its moving up and down?

I think it represents the level of risk in the experiment, the faster it moves, the more risky the expirment is, and therefore more likely to fail.

But to be honest, I wouldn't pay too much attention to that, since you can still critical fail on items that you have 0% chance of failing on, and you cant increase an attribute that has failed to 0%.

Why do we have to be a master medic to unlock a tree that has absolutely nothing to do with medicine? Think about it... what does the persuasion tree have to do with curing sick villagers? In order to gain the ability to trick people we have to get medic and cure villagers? This makes absoluttely no sense! There should be alternate quests for this for people who don't have master medic, or you should be able to accept the quest with novice medic. Anyone else think this idea makes some sense?

Not a flame, but there is a "Force Sensitive" forum that you should post that question in. This forum is mainly for discussing Jedi items...in fact there are a good number of us here who never participated in the new trials, like myself....so wouldnt be able to answer this anyways.

i've heard conflicts that it takes master medic and some say it takes doctor x/x/x/4, which is it? but yes, I do agree with what you're saying...

I needed Master doc, because some of the experimenting required +100 to experimentation. So I would say Master doctor is a must.

says you have to have master medic to accept the quest... probably have to have the crafting tree of doc too unless you can get a master doc to help you out.
