I have seen conflicting posts about which 24 boxes you need. Some people have said its any 24 boxes and some have said it needs to be 6 trees, does anyone actually know?

Also does the "Master" box count as one of the 24 if you get it?

You will need 6 branches to be visited by the old man again. I don't know if getting a master's box counts as one of the 24 boxes you need or not. Someone else will have to chime in on that one. To answer you other question, I believe you need 6 trees total as opposed to random boxes that would equal 24. If it is random it is my opinion that it would take much longer to do it that way and would be kind of pointless and the fs trees do not give you that big of a boast, but not having all the boxes in one tree would seem sort of a waste of time to me. Just my two cents.
