And be sure to add shipwright xp to the conversion. Since shipwright is a crafting profession like architect, droid engineer, etc. it definatly deserves to be a part of the FS crafting conversion. Being a master shipwright and having to use droid engineer to get my FS xp dosent seem right. Hopefully pilot and SW xp conversion will be added before the CU. Although most likely this will happen (if at all) after Rage of the Wookiees.

I have bought jtl, but have only been in space for about 20 mins total, if this was put in effect, i would be up there every second of every day.
I love space so much more than the ground, but i wanna get jedi sooooo bad, i have to let space be space.
I am still new to the forums, so i dont know how to make a link to this thread in the development forum where it should be. So can someone else do it. A dev might actually read it that way.

This is hilarious. Seriously, this forum should be the subject of a sociology paper for one of you college students out there. It's a literal treasure trove of material for the student who wants to combine their passion (SWG) with their studies.
A week or so ago I did an editorial for www.bluefrogserver.com on why prestige points should be converted and posted it in the Pilot forum. Little did I know that the pilot forum has become the most anti-Jedi place in this game. I was one of the first Bounty Hunters on my server and I spent a great deal of time in the anti-Jedi camp simply because I was hoping that SWG had more to offer past 250 skill points besides Jedi.
I would have never in a million years though that JTL would be the new haven of Jedi-dropouts and jealous indignation. Want to really know why a FS conversion will never happen for JTL? CHECK OUT THIS

You get space XP so fast, easyand can bank so much of it this would be either a key to minimum time to Jedi or the conversion rate would have to be soinsane that Squad Leader XP conversion would look reasonable. However this would be the most fun way to get Jedi, using the existing professions and FS system, that I could think of.

Funny to see that thread is still alive
I've finished with my jedi grind long ago, but still thinks this would be a good idea...
Everything with that conversion makes sense :/
Ratio should be adjusted to what it looks like with CU for ground profs, but that idea is still a good one

it's an alright idea but devs already said they don't listen to petitions at all
Dude! What are you talking about? They don't listen to ANYTHING we say. Hence... the CU.

It is a nice dream a lot of us share. I haven't been on the ground for weeks, beside some trips to the vendor to pick up a crate of space ammo. I would even welcome a 1000:1 exchange ratio, just so I could slowly chip away at the FS boxes, which I will always refuse to grind, unlocked a couple of branches and still haven't filled a single box beside the Novice ones
But we all know it won't happen. Nice to dream though.
