Gray I understand your assertion that a strict policy should be observed in these similar cases. You make very good points, and I'm very persuaded by them.

I keep thinking about cops and judges, though. If all we ever needed to do was apply the most strict black-and-white interpretation of coded law, there'd be no need for a judicial system. I have a sort of intuitive pull that makes me feel as though something is missing from your case, but I'm not well able to articulate it.

What I can tell you for sure is about feeling. I "feel" as though db/rez is ugly and harmful and should be stopped, but somehow I don't "feel" that way about AFK ents who might be grinding FS xp. I have no way to justify this (apparent?) inconsistency, but to me the two classes are somehow fundamentally dissimilar and hence ought not be subject to the same interpretation of the rules.
