I think you can drop the skills. The reason I think this is because the two people who have done the first holocrons profession, then gotten a second holo. have had it say a completely different profession. So it seems like it is checking that profession off of the list. Like the previous poster said though, no one knows for sure yet.

Anyone forget about those of us that have already mastered most professions? I hope we won't have to remaster them again. I've mastered every crafting but chef and weaponsmith, and I've mastered every combat skill but BH, Smuggler and Ranger. Lord I hope that I don't have to remaster a skill...

Let us know when you A) finish mastering everything (do BH last) or B) when you get your holocrons.

i've read too many posts with people bitching about the holocrons because they have to give up their "hard earned skill points", but all these holocrons are really doing is tipping us in the right direction.... if we didnt have holocrons we still woudl need to master a certain profession we just wouldnt know what it is....

Yo,

Was wondering where most of you guys are finding your holocrons... seems like Surface Marshalls on Dantooine are where they are found easiest, right? Thanks in advance for your opinions

If by "easiest" you mean "hellishly impossible", yes Dantooine surface marshalls are the easiest place to find them.

You can't currently get holocrons from missions.. you can only loot them from high level Force sensitive NPC's.. force crystal hunters, untrained weilders of the dark side, etc, mostly on Dantooine.. also Dark Troopers (Imperials) and Surface Marshalls (Rebels) drop them... Holocron splinters are useless
