SonGouki has just updated his guide (9/1/05) to include the new badges you can use to get glowy. Look in there.

Thx LeviticusD, I know that post, but Shagg22 wrote that Nym's themepark can be done in 2 minutes "if you know the trick". I already did it in my other Alt, and it was not that fast.
That's what I mean. What is that trick that allows to make Nym's so quickly ? Or did I miss anything in SonGouki's guide explaining how to Nym's that fast ?

I'm sorry! Didn't read it close enough. I just did it, but didn't have any trick, but it still took me less than 20 minutes. You just go to three caves, run to the end, click on a box and head back. If you are a high enough level, nothing aggroes you. You might be able to just get the stuff that nym is asking for (like the computer disk or whatever) and just drag it onto them after you accept the quest, but I'm not sure if that works or if that is what he means.

I got the glow in bout 4 hours after mastering CH the way i did it was as follows
1. went to WP 902, -4193 on Lok
might wanna take a buddy with ya for this cause there is a 56 driodeka guard at the door.
Check Nyms Theme park guides for info on where a compter disk and imperial grenade in the facility.
Take them to Nym drag and drop the items onto Nym for the badge and Nyms Slug Thrower.(time 10 min)
This is a bug or flaw that has been around over a yeah and has been posted on support and other SOE forums
many times, and i personally /bug it in august of last year but it is still around. (like riding a wheelie through the town of
Moshaw on Sunrunner.
2. make sure you have completed Trelahas noob quest in Mos Eisley.
3. Talk to the mayor of MosEisley and do ALL 5 of her "teach me about skills quests" do them one at a time after completeing
Them you now have 4 more badges Mos Eisley (time 2 hours )
4. Go visit bens hutt get POI, then while on Tattoine visit the sarlacc pit and kryat skeletons POI's
5. Go visit Jedi Temple on Dantooine
6. Go visit Exar Kun's Temple on Yavin 4
7 . Get 5 other POI's from any where and you will glow
my badges as of right now are

Keys to the city

Hi i'd just like to add i didnt do my reb themepark or the "proved colonel blah blah blah" (warren badge) and im glowy.. i have done 1 corvette, compassion, nyms, Jabbas.. all the poi's, i got glowy after killing the Queen NS and the acklay

Ok I'm sure it's all very interesting telling everyone what badges we have, but what I want to know is:
Does this affect my visit from the old man?
Do I have to get more badges in order to get glowy again and recieve the visit?
Or will the old man visit me anyway?
I dont want to wait for another 61 hours and then find out i have to get another badge, kinda waste of my time waiting right now.

Dang Stefan, this is brought back from the dead. This is is all pre-modified glowie.
I am guessing this is what you are talking about. This thread was started way back when. I guess we need to see what has changed.

If the newbie quests count towards glowy then why aren't I glowy yet ?

if you know your way around the Warren, it can take you 10 minutes to collect all the evidence disks... I did this on one of my toons to get my crafter FS. I am after the Crafting Mastery benefits and loot from teh village

I know Tiggs is looking into this but I have another view on this
Well ever since they changed the pre-req for FS , lots of people have gone through the village , maybe , there are too many in there atm , so they have put in some form of limit on how many people can go through , so until the numbers drop down , no-one else will be allowed to enter .
I should be glowy now , as I've just got the 2 Warren badges which is more than enough along with my other content badges but I still have a strong sense of the force .

Same thing here, got tons of badges and begged friends for help for weeks (I'm a crafter so immagine what that means to do theme parks and the like). Filed a ticket to CSR they told me this is abug being investigated, and they suggested me to check forums. No idea on when this will be fixed. I'm lil bit frustrated so much effort and now wait who know for how much time
