There are a few changes due to this, recently BH xp became 5:1 and slicing xp is no longer given (all smuggler xp is now either pistol or combat) ((unless base slicing is still giving slicing xp)
As for the combat xp being 30:1 now. I have read 2 different theories behind this,
1. Nades were giving pure combat xp allowing the users to grind the fs xp much faster, thus they nerfed combat xp instead of putting nades on their own xp branch.
2. Combat xp is given basically for free, you already earn wep xp for the same kill so it was 33:2 in reality, so combat was brought on-line with weps to keep it 30:1.
personally i believe they were to lazy to fix the nades myself. But that's just my opinion, i could be wrong

Unlocks are given if you accomplished certain things with Holocrons back in the day.. I think if you got enough of the professions from holocrons then you could get a free unlock. look around internet. I did 3 profession that the holocrons told me and was guessing the 4th and I got no unlocks. Go figure that SOE hates me.

Medical xp also just took a hit... just noticed they changed it to 30:1 as well
