well exploiting = 'taking advantage of a bug', and grinding in the warren is taking advantage ofa bug, so it could easily be classed as exploiting

Although I'm not a BH, I do have to side with them on this. Grinding in the warren is an exploit. I dont see the difference between taking advantage of this bug and taking advantage of the 0, 0 / geo cave bugs that existed.

On top of that, It makes the area very laggy (houses + huge spawns) and makes it extremely difficult for some of the low lvl people looking to explore the warren and get the badges to do so.

Its also infuriating for BH. They get a mission, get the wp only to see the jedi is in one of the most confusing and annoying areas in the game (lets face it, following the map of the warren is no easy task). all the jedi needs to do is fr around the warren and the bh will never hit him, and then run out to his house and sit there... when the BH gives up.. he runs back in and it starts again.

Warren grinders/geo grinders/0,0 grinders only serve to give jedi a bad name, and make the effort that the rest of us made to grind properly seem like a joke.

The fast spawn rates of the Warren are not a bug. Who says they are? They are supposed to be fast because they are there to take care of player groups.

That's what I'm trying to find out - Is it a bug or not? I have 2 csrs say no, and another one I assume put a note on my account.

Have you been down there recently?

I was down there 2 days ago trying to guide a m8 through. 1st room I come into where there should be 2 groups of 3 npcs and 2 groups of 3 huurtons has arounf 15 - 20 of each and jedi spamming dervish with corpses everywhere.

Before jedi begun grinding there... I had never witnissed anything like this in the warren. Only other time I had seen this was in the geo cave when jedi were grinding there. I believe this to be the same situation beginning now.

The spawns are triggered, it seems, by the amount of PCs the system registers are in this dungeon.

i think common sense says its a bug, the spawn rate is totally ridiculous..

My common sense says it isn't. If we're going by 'vague feeling', maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you are.

The Geo Caves had to purposely broken by players in order to yield a high amount of spawns. That was exploiting.

The 0,0 Endor spawn had to be broken by players in order to yield a high amount of spawns. That was exploiting.

The Warren does not have to be broken to yield a high amount of spawns, and as such, is not exploiting.

To say that grinding in the Warren is an exploit would be to say that hunting the increased amount of Krayt Dragons is an exploit. A player does not have to perform any dodgy actions to take advantage of the spawn rates.

And to the bounty hunters-learn how to stalk your prey. If you have problems navigating the Warren-which isn't too difficult with experience-then wait at the front door. Your targets buffs have to drop eventually...

Does pulling in 3+ million Jedi XP in one buff sound like an exploit?

Although I doubt anyone cares about a frustrated Bounty Hunter.

exploiting means taking advantage of a bug - if indeed the warren is bugged (which imo it obviously is) then it is exploiting to grind there

the increased krayt spawn IS NOT a bug, since it was in the patch notes etc.. So you cant compare this with that.
