Thread: Guide to Sense XP via Revive player 5 hours to train 1 tree

Yes, this method is fast, but 5 hours per branch is nothing but a pipe dream. I have no idea how the guy was able to pull it off, but since I just knocked out 2 branches to help my grind, I'll share my results.

Average med xp/rez - 750
Time per rez - 2.5sec
FS xp/hour - approx 100k
Number of rezzes per branch - 16,350
Time per branch - approx 11.5 hours

Some other words of advice, at least what I found out. Works best if you are a Swordsman, your deathbot should equip a rifle, just for the extra damage boost until you can drive the bot's BF to 1000. I was having problems with starting the cycle correctly if the bot had very high BF, and was starting black barred, it seemed like the rez kit was healing the death, but not able to bring him out of incap state, I would have to wait for him to regen his mind, then kill him again, until the point where the kits were healing him enough to bring him up. Finally, in order to clear the groggy state, just let the bot clone back at science outpost, that should clear it just fine. Well after many late night sessions, i'm fairly well burned out now, but, on the bright side, I only have about 1,100k fs xp to get with my combat classes, so in a few days, I should be finally done with this obscene grind....

Another piece of advice:

If you want to CAP every 6 minutes (Like I do), make sure to throw a /healdamage after your /revive in the macro. Make sure to stock up on Stim D's and you will get around 1000 and 1300 Exp every few seconds.

Oh yeah, 1000 BF on the Rez Dummy helps ALOT

I just finished grinding 3.6 mill sense xp using this method, and my numbers came out very similarly to Oddof's. I am MSword/MDoc, and used 2 hand head hit 3. Some other observations I had:

1) I added the following macro:

/macro reztrick;
/pause 300;
/dump;

where reztrick was the kill/rez macro listed at the top of this thread. This allowed me to go afk and not worry about blowing through all of my rez packs. I just checked in every 5 min or so to cash in the xp. You may want to play with the pause time based on the average time it takes you to cap med xp.

2) If you are a swordsman DO NOT use a scythe! I used a curved 2-hand sword with no trouble and burned through 800 condition...the weapon speed matters more than max/min damage. And cost...scythe = $300K+ curved sword=$6K.

3) I eliminated the pauses from the macro and found it to be slightly faster.

4) If you are making your own rez packs, I would recommend using good resources with high OQ & UT. Since it takes a long time to cook a batch of these, I think the extra 4-7 charges per pack is worth it. Make sure the inorganic you use has UT as a stat, since any UT will add charges.

Hope this helps for those of you contemplating this method.
Good Luck!

just wanted to say I'm sorry for my miscalculation for the time it takes to get one full branch. One of the first lines I put in this post is that I did not use this to get any sense columns at all. I used this macro several months ago to master doctor. In total, I've mastered doctor 5 times, using this method 4 of those times.

Regardless, 11.5 hours is the fastest tree anywhere

I've read about people getting yelled at for it, but its no different than using tumblers. An exploit take advantage of an in game system that is not working properly and using it to your advantage. Using the in game macro system and the in game combat and revive systems, that are all working properly, is not an exploit and they can report you all they want, but you're not doing anything wrong.

The jedi that used the geo cave spawn and recently the Endor 0,0 spawn were exploiting, they were using an in game system that broke down to their advantage. They were exploiting. Credit dupers are exploiting. If you found a way that each revive gave you 10,000 medic xp, you would be exploiting. But you're not.

Because /revive gives better xp than using a tumbling pet or buffing playersis irrelevant, what is happening in this game is that jedi is such a hot topic for discussion that when you are going through the village anyone that thinks another player will get ahead of them gets mad and cries exploit. Which is good to have players help police things that happen in this game, but many players over do it and things get nerfed.

With combat revamp coming and the doc buff nerf pending, the village grind might just get a little tougher, this adds to the frustration of some players that may be concerned with not only completing the village grind, but getting far enough into jedi so that the doc buff nerf doesn't hurt as bad.

So what I think you're experiencing is the beginning of the arguments that will start up as "the mad rush to get jedi before everything changes" starts. It's kind of like the ninja looter arguments that ended up in a few suspensions in the height of holocron looting.

My friend's been helping me out with this, i'm using the exact macro in this post, but it consistantly only lets me do it for about 15 min. at a time. then it won't let me attack him. Only lets me trade. BTW you get between 800-1000 xp per revive not 50

Just a FYI, as a Master Swordsman it took me 20 Hrs for one tree not 5hrs and I would suggest one important change to the macro:

/duel <The Doctor's player name>;

/target<The Doctor's player name>;

/pause .3 ;

/ui action toolbarSlot00;

/duel <name of the player that's going to die for you>;

/target <name of the player that's going to die for you>;

/headhit3 <or any other attack that you can perform with the weapon you have equipped>;

/pause 0.2;

/deathblow;

/pause 0.1;

/revive;

/ui action toolbarSlot00;

Why? Well I had some jerk CM that came in and challenged me to a duel and kill me before I know what was going on. The way above only challenges the person you want and will not accept any duels from anyone else.

You can do this a little faster. I did it a little faster in about 11-13 hours a branch. One key is that you can trade in while you are doing this if you are close enough to paemos. If you are using your alt char as death bot. Stat migrate them to the lowest mind value. I then got a speed sliced two handed sword(about 1.6-1.8) and then just did meleeheadhit1; It would take me three hits to kill and then I will kill/rez once per sec. I was avging about 3:50 to 4:20 on max out. I would never max. I would alway trade in about 40k med xp. Of course this does not work in the village during phase 4 for ovious reasons.

Phew, I finished the Luck tree finally :-)
Two problems I encounted which may help people, 1) my deathbot wasn't force sensitive so I had to sit 500m outside the village on the fringe and swoop it into the village to convert (took 2min to do each time) and 2) during "Phase 4" this can be a real pain to do due to the amount of Sith fighting in the village.
These 2 problems didn't worry me too much I wasn't grinding 24/7.

Thanks to everyone who gave input for this guide.

Though I initially cried bloody murder about people doing this...I find now that I really don't care.

There is a way to converse with Paemos without clicking him...and that post is in the FS forum somewhere, if you look for it....(I don't remember where).
