Watch out for Jedi scammers, making refined crystal packs and naming them Crystal´s.
Got scammed once, stupid me tough.
Got to look before buying.

Ok...two days ago I went on a Nym killing spree, killing respawning NPC's that hang around the city on Lok. I found 2 color crystals after killing only about 20 or so. Today, I have spent 4 hours killing Jantas and Kungas and found nothing. Anyone have any luck finding crystals yet? If so, which ones and what did u kill to get them? I know the Devs posted a list of what NPCs drop what but it seems to me that the list is inconsistant, incomplete, or just plain wrong. So I figure lets just make a list of our own listing where we have found these items. I'll start...

I had a purple twin force crystal. Now, it is clear. Is it still worth something, or is it now garbage?
How do I determine the value of crystals?

This purple twin force crystal is now a damage crystal - all twins got converted to damage when patch nine went live. Only a Jedi character can evaluate crystals - they are given a rating (poor, fair, premium etc) that only the Jedi can see. Also, the crystals now have to be tuned before its statistics are revealed - and once tuned, can only be used by the Jedi that tuned it.

yes they can. But! the stats after tuning don't seem to have much relation to the rating .. I tuned a fair crystal earlier and it came out with better stats than a friends quality rated crystal.

Where is the best place to find crystals that a Mfencer/swordsman can solo? NS can be really hard. but i herd there the onlynpc's to get the best crystals off. anyone give me some ideas on what to do or where to hunt for them. thanks

for the most part crystals are a joke, just like before. Go kill Kryatt dragons, the pearls are generally better IMO

if you have medic skill enough to use stim D you can solo them with fencer/sword using a good hammer, and your novice brawler skills to their fullest. It would go a lot easier for the elders if you had a master rifleman with you that also had decent med skill.

I have an assortment of crystals that I'm tuning to check out right now.. my question is.. I keep finding ones that have like -8+ speed... the rest stats suck..but my LS has a speed of 5.0.. I'm thinking about using these crystals for my lair lightsabers...would this be a good idea? I would think with a negative speed on my LS I would hit much faster than I do now..which would help a lot..Is that a correct assumption?
