I'm in the same situation as YuccaB. I filled my last branch 12 hours ago and now I'm waiting for the old man. Well I hope this glowy status thing doesnt interfere with his visit! Especially if I have to wait for 72 hours and then find out I have to get another badge!

According to Shuno on Farstar, who is currently residing on TC, Glowie can still be acheived via the normal channels.
So this would indicate its a bug with those who are already FS, and not a change to the FS system.
Though I wouldn't mind if it was tbh.

Ok I put a ticket in last night and loged in before the server came down and found this answer to why I lost glowy..... the stuipd CSR didn't even notice that the comment says ( I have all 6 trees FS (6trees/24 boxes) filled) thanks for not even reading the ticket and copy/cut/and pasting the norm answer..... I HATE CSR's

Can't remember if Theed Librarian is content or not but i have that one also.
A couple of the Mos Eisley Badges. But recieved visit from old man a long time ago Pre-CU
If I had to guess as to what is causing the problem i would say one of a couple of things. or a combo of them.
1.) Jabba's Themepark
2.) Theed Librarian (Don't really know about this one.)
3.) The new Content Badges from Mos Eisley
4.) Pub 24 did something.
5.) They are doing away with the Village and putting in a new system In the near future To Get Jedi unlocked.
If That's the case I hope that they give enough time for people to finish filling there boxes. and do the trials.
6.) Don't know about this one as it would make alot of people quit the game. Jedi limit has been reached. don't know if this is possible.
If that's the case then like i said alot of people would quit the game and I don't think that they would do this. /crossfingers

Just as an afterthought. Has any current JEDI checked to see if the have lost glowy? How funny would that be?

Here is what I know:
My alt is FS from pre-CU. Warren, Imp theme, Jabba's theme, Nym's theme. Strong sense.
My friend who started playing, and decided to get FS to use up a few extra skill points, got glowy Tuesday night (Jabba, Imp, Nym, Gorax, Kiin'Dray). He received his Old Man visit last night, and has a "strong sense of the force".
My alt is FS from pre-CU. Warren, Imp theme, Jabba's theme, Nym's theme. Strong sense.

Thanks that is good to hear.... I hit the 72hr point at 12:30pm ct so 3.3 hrs to wait I'll let you all know if he shows

My toon on TC who had not hadhis firstOld Man visit yet, just got his today. He is still only strong with the force. I'd guess /check just isn't reporting correctly.

my main character i play is a jedi, and she still has the message about the "inner glow". and so does all the other jedis i asked on my server. but by asking around and reading what i see onhere, something is somewhat curious... a lot of people that were "glowy" that didn't get old man yet got down to "faint sense of the force", those that are glowy that got old man visit and started village are now to "strong sense of the force", and all the people i asked that were jedi told me they still had the "inner glow"...
could it has something related?
and no it cannot be the new mos eisley starter quest badges nor jabba's pallace, as a lot ofthe people i asked didn't have starter quest badges, and my own alt doesn't have any jabba's pallace badges.
