ok so you cap 900k swords = 30k fsxp
90k combat = 30k fsxp
then to the village -
then back
cap 900k swords = 30k fsxp
90k combat= 30k fsxp
then to the village -
then back
etc etc etc.
i fail to see how you can get up to 240k fsxp on 1 buff , i mean how many missions do you have to take to max your swords ?
the only reason im asking is i dropped swords for commando as with swords i wasnt going anywhere fast
could you please explain for all the would-be swords grinders how you get so much xp as many people cant afford the commando grind.
Well, I take two missions, head out to them killing every lair on the way there and then on the way back. Its easy to cap 2 handed Swords VERY fast.
It depends on how big a rush your in I suppose. Take into account that grenades are expensive, and hard to get hold of for some people. Also, the time it take to find them, and buy them etc, all adds up the time.
Grenades is faster, but I just find killing stuff with my hammer easier and more fun.
I tend to swap planets ever so often as well, just to make it a little more interesting.

We're talking COMBAT XP here folks. Not un-armed, 1 handed or 2 handed. Combat xp is a 3 to 1 trade in while any other XP is 30 to 1. Do the math. I can make 300K in "COMBAT XP" in 1 buff session. That wouldtranslate into 3 million un-armed, 1 handed or 2 handed XP and getting combat XP the old fashion way. Using Nades is FASTER then any other method to date. My best 2 handed XP ever was 700k. Trade that in for alittle over 23k of Force XP. I can make 300K COMBAT XP in the same buff time for a trade in of 100k Force XP.
Keep swinging there Mr. Swordsmen
1st .... i dont swing mr.scythe anymore,....
2nd.... well i dont really see the point why all combat proffesions have to work theirt ass off to do this cause we get combat-specific xp + COMBAT XP...
but naders get 10 times more combat xp from THE SAME CREATURE...... now thnk of that,... mr... NADE lol..
im tellin u do what u want,.... but there SHOULD be GRANADE XP .... same way than ALL other professions,.... and i rather think killin bare-handed/knuckling or with swords is (considering a lil RP) more jedi kind.... thats all ,... (1-star me if u could u lazy ppl hahahahah)
sure its just standing in the middle of the lair,..... (dont all professions have some kind of area attack!?!?!?)
fact is i feel crappy if i would grind with nades,.... hehe ,... think of the old-school jedi,.... they will be pissed,..

And if you ever tried or exprienced nades but still u think ur grinding way is better. let us know.
What is more jedi like? Actually there is no evidence or jedi-code for that. That's just ur own opinion what u said here.
but AS I SAID DO AS U LIKE lol.... btw ,... i told my friend to grind with nades too ... so... dont flame me,... i would just feel low.......

Actually this post for question about nade xping.
If you wanna make ur opinion and suggest way u think more jedi like.
Open new thread and guide people pls.

I agree...and for the record...if we were really trying to "experience" the Jedi way, we would all start out at about 5 years old with training sabers under a Jedi Master, and wouldn't be running around killing anything for years. If this were true rp'ing we would have a random roll in the beginning when we create our characters as to whether we are force sensitive or not. There would be no fs grind or poi's. So I don't see the arguement as a valid one that says using a two handed sword is more "star wars" like. (trying to remember if I ever saw anyone use a sword in the cannon....nope don't think so.). Really this isn't any faster....you still have to wait 3 weeks between unlocks even if you cap your fs xp......so the nade grinder and the sword swingers are still going to have the same amount of time to wait. Like I posted before, it just gives more time to do other things, rather than grinding all of the time.

Well, your going to have to have alot of time on your hands to grind Jedi anyway.

Not a flame.....just I had the same thoughts before I switch to commando.....I didn't want to change my template, I liked my character the way he was, but in the end I saw how much game time it would take as TKM. So, really I do respect those who would rather say no to nades and do it the "more time consuming" way....wish I had that much time on my hands.....so not a flame just an opinion.

Ah but you miss my point entirely. It is not time playing, it is time grinding. I have the choice in this game to grind, play, or pout. I want to get as much play as I can. I will develop my jedi slowly, I have all the time I want......I just don't want to spend all the time grinding now...while I can be out and about and not worried about bh...once I cross the threshold to jedi...there will be much lonelier times ahead. I am only talking abou the fs grind.....that's all...
But that is my point exactly!!! It's a GRIND and it totally sucks because there's not Plot/Twist/Story Line, to go with it. It's usless grinding and a way for SOE to keep you in the game longer. But if i'm gonna grind, i'm gonna use the system to my advantage. There is no difference in Spin attacking a lair with a sword or tossing a nade at the same lair. And i'm not power grinding either. I FS grind every other day. Yes, some of you don't wanna change your current templete, i can repect that. I'm still Master TKA/Medic and it wasn't to far of a stretch for me to pick up commando. I just figured that if i'm gonna grind this, i wanted the most bang for my time (no pun intended) But don't tell how un jedi like throwing nade is, it's just silly to make that comparison. It's a fictional character for god sakes.

Does anyone see the irony in this statement?
