Thread: 2nd old man visit
Have just defeated Mellichae with the help of a few friends (thanks Melt, and 2 nice chaps in shiney white armour..... you know who you are), and have now started the trials so the shrine on Dant worked for me.
Anyone doing this good luck

I seemed to have no luck in getting him to come either. I eventually went to the jedi ruins and he came right to me. i heard there was something to it but everyone said that was BS.
I did take 3 guildies to the jedi ruins and he popped every single time. May just be coincidence. I heard a RUMOR that Jedi POI's helped him spawn but it was just a rumor.
I just found it an odd coincidence that 4 of us total have gotten him to spawn there.

The time varies, but the Old Man visited my alt yesterday almost 24 hours to the minutes upon completing all 6 FS branches. He visited me by my shop just outside the Theed city line, and the Mellichae camp was by Theed. A guildmate (thanks Xanshiva)collected many of the Jedi (Thanks too)loitering about Theed to assist me, so this went quickly.

THERE IS A TRICK TO GET THE OLD MAN TO SPAWN FASTER!
Shuttle to an NPC city.......run out of city past a distance of 1k from city. Turn around and run back and shuttle to another NPC city and do the same. Do not burst run, just run normally. If after an hour or so who have now been visited. Then log out wait long enough for you character to unload from the world. Log back in and repeat. This will DRASTICALLY increase his spawn time for you.
Tip - Keep your overhead map on and look for a white dot, becuase it will not show on radar. Good Luck!
