First of all.....I see you haven't been grinding for Jedi......Seccond.....Most of the people who want free unlock has allready been banking XP (that means, they grinded 1.225.000 Fs XP) and thats over 3 million of normal XP

I personally, could allready be doing the padawan quest (as many others).....but no, I need to wait and God knows for how long......WHY??? is it ouer fault that devolePOORs messed that up?????? I dont think its childish to request free unlock.....and I think they might as well start giving people free unlocks instead of wasting time. I want a free unlock if they dont fix it VERY SOON, and in this case, time is money cause we all pay 15-17$......It would be different if the game was free, but its not......so I hope either Dev's fix it or start giving free unlocks (at least I want it, cause I have been working long time and it was not a walk in the park)

SO I support Scooter 110% in his idea of geting a free unlock!

First.. you are wrong.. I am grinding for jedi. I only need 300k more fsxp for my last branch. I understand the point of scoooter but still disagree for the free unlock. I could be Jedi since 12 weeks already, but I was to lazy to do the quest.. I suffered the rubberband as every person did, who was online this time.. did we get something for free?!

I surely would also be upset, if I would be in that situation. I also support that those people state their problem. That is their good right to do so. But when I look only into this forum. There are already about 5 topics only for that bug. There are other topics/posting in other forums also about that bug.
I know, that this is a big issue for those people who can't unlock! But it doesn't help them nor anybody else, when they fall over such topics all 5 meters

But I also have to admit that an ETA from the Devs would be more than needed right now!
So, please no hard feelings that I only partialy share your thoughts. I don't have hard feelings that you can't share mine. Peace

The thing is... and you'll read this a lot... melee defense is NOT one of those quests you can say, "well, I don't really need this... I'll do some other quest." Basically, you're now limited to grinding senses for this phase or crafting. Reflexes and Combat are out of the equation with a bugged Capt Sarguillo. Melee defense is a necessity for new jedi (although you certainly don't need it.. but think of the implications of not having that extra +20 melee defense) -- plain and simple. The more time that passes - the harder it will be to complete this darn quest as there will be less people grinding in the village to kill their 50 sith outlaws and 25 sith pirates. So, all in all, two weeks may not be long enough to finish the quest since most of us don't live @ the computer 24/7. I think that a pertinent solution to this problem is to just apologize for the bugs (hey, they happen) and at least compensate us by either a) giving us the quest unlock or b) perhaps giving us credit for time lost (say 25 sith outlaws killed and 12 sith pirates killed). There must be some sort of equation to balance things out due to lost time. If 3 weeks goes by and nothing happens - we should get the free unlock.

Now i may misread this one and others but are you asking for a free unlocked branch as in the branch itselfbut still need to grind the 4 boxes in it? Or do you mean the full unlocked branch which they give you the full xp to like they did with the holo credit? If it is the first one then I think that is fair. I am already from last phase 4 but personally i think that is very fair. Now if someone thinks they should get it free filled also needs their head examined. Phase 4 only takes from 30mins to an hr if not 2 hrs and it's not hard so i would support getting the branch unlocked for free.

So far day 6 and what we have from the devs is that they are looking into the reported problem.

Thats not good enough we need progress.

Some people have RL obligations that make it necessary to unlcok the branch. If you are assuming I am saying like a holo unlock where they give the xp I am not. We just want to be able to train earned xp.

Most of us experiencing this it is our last branch and we would be gated for 12 weeks

These people will not even communicate the priority of this over what is on their plate already.

With no communiication I am not as confident as you.

It has been proven that screaming is the only thing they respond to. Besides unless people post aboput it and explain the urgency they cannot gauge the community effect.

I hate to tell you, but SOE's QA is the worst I have seen. I have been a developer for quite along time and if I did what they do constantly I would be fired. So I wouldn't place them in the "great" catagory.

Also "We are looking into it" is not an acknowledgement of the bug

In the case ofservers like Valcyn the quest becaomes nearly impossible after the first few days bacause of the massive amounts of siths and it takes several days to complete. In the first few days it is more doable because the people are there to group with. Getting a group together will be very difficult soon.

The Dev's have CHOSEN not to communicate, they know about this. Their lack of any sort of communication is by CHOICE.

They need to end the frustration.

They wonder whenmake posts to improvecommunity relations they get a flame fest. Their handling of this with the lack of communication is a prime example

Im a Old school jedi , do me a favor let me know if they give you guys a free unlock. If I had a dollar for all the first probs and lack of communication with jedi... I would be rich beyond what I would need.

No offense... but some patience will help you... and yes it did use over 12 months ago.

Do you know how that sounds? You will die in real, when you can't unlock this branch. What a waste of a life *sigh* Jesus Christ people.. This is a game. A piece of software. No RL obligation makes it necessary to unlock anything in this game. Except you wanna trade your jedi toon on ebay, which is forbidden by the EULA anyway.

If you really have the need to unlock a branch, because of your RL obligations, than you really should think over, if gaming is the right thing for your RL situation *shakes head*
