I noticed phase II and Phase III quests seem identical for the crafting mastery. Is this correct?

They're almost identical... except in Phase II you're helping them rebuild the village defenses and in Phase III you're helping them rebuild the shields (each have different components that you need to make to 'donate').
Actually, there are several quests that are similar in the village, such as Search and Destroy I and II (obviously, heh), and Whip's missions for rescuing the villagers then the supplies...

This post should have more replies- or not enough people or seeing this great guide.
One thing I cant find is - the xp cap for normal combat xp. I remember hitting the cap on master pike and losing 70k of combat xp. This meant when I started swordsman I could not immediatley fill the fourth line which I had noticed other people doing when I was training them as master pike.

If you are talking of normal Combat Experience... It is 300k.
(maxxed out 900k on my sword and close to max on my fencing when I was in the village, Came up short for Melee Speed-I)

Be aware YOU must keep whatever branches you get here on your unlocked Jedi character! Be careful do not unlock a skill in your first 24 boxes that you will not want as a jedi! This is critical...the devs implemented this so that all jedi will be different and not custom built to be identical combat machines.

Huh? I'm confused... Mind you... I didn't plan for my Swordmaiden (MSword/MFence/TKA4004) to be glowing, but it happened. Probably better for her than for my pure crafter who can barefuly fight with a CDEF at times.
Anyway, I did the village quest to get my banner. I don't want Ranged, but the guide says "FS Branch Unlocked: Combat Prowess: Ranged Accuracy"
Um, does that mean I screwed up the poor girl??

Phase II:
Combat Prowess: Melee Speed
Enhanced Reflexes: Vehicle Control
Heightened Senses: Luck
Crafting Mastery: Technique
OK, here we are in phase II. I'm going for Heightened Senses. Eozlin is indeed the contact for Senses. But he does not open Luck, he opens Survey, which you indicate isn't until phase III. I am now stuck with Survey as a skill, when I am not an artisan and have zero use for it.

Heightened Senses Phase 2 unlocks Surveying, not Luck
I just did it expecting to get luck and got surveying.

I'm so sorry about that guys. However, like I said, I have yet to do Phase 2 (never got a chance to get into TC) so all my information for Phases 2-4 is culminated from what others have posted.
Updated the information... hopefully not too much damage was done ![]()

I'm stuck with Surveying instead of Luck, the 2nd skill of 2 I have no use for and can't change. Not your fault, I blame Sony. If they weren't so committed to making things obtuse this wouldn't have happened.
