Thread: So who else is doing the grind WITHOUT grenades ?

I'm doing it with master swordsman and master fencer. No grenades but I can grind capped on combat and the two melee profs in pretty good time, its just a matter of getting bored doing it.

is there suppost to be some sort of honour in not using nades? fyi you can make about 100k FS xp and hour with commando 4/0/0/0 and thermal grenades

Easy... use mask scent and run around dathomir. Also, harvest everything you kill. I max out my scout xp almost every time I play without even thinking about it.

Everyone pretty much knows how much xp is possible with the Nades method by now mate. The point is some people are happy with their current templates and don't want to get commando or spend the money on shedload of Nades to grind FS.
I think the point of the thread is that there are a number of 'Nades=fast=good' threads, but not many seeing what OTHER ways people are doing to grind who don't want to stand in a lair lobbing nades hour after hour.
As difficult as it may be to comprehend not everyone is in it to powergame a jedi by the fastest possible route, but actually 'play' the game while they do it.

I was with you, grinded out 2 and a half branches with 2h, TK, pike, and combat. Then I saw some c12's for sale and thought I'd buy them. They were crappy and cheap, but very very effective. So I decided that day to get commando. It is way to easy to grind with grenades, so I'm going with that method, before the combat nerf takes this away

I didn't hologrind because I didn't want to ruin my character and my template. For the same reason, I don't use grenades. I'm a TKM and Master Dancer. And, until I become Jedi, that is what I plan to stay. That is who my character is. I am doing three branches of combat/reflexes with TKM and three branches of senses with Dancing. I freely admit that my grind goes slower than most. But, that's because I choose to play the game as my character and feel no need to rush just to get to the top. I'll get there eventually. And, I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy the ride a heck of a lot more than most people.

Well... Merchant bogs my 'grind' (I don't really grind xp, just happen to get it when I kill stuff

im tkm/mdoc done 4 full trees so far. not even sick of it. ive even done alot on mokk/janta and ns. i should be done before my final quest, but i do have 3 phases of nothing i think.
id do gernades if i didnt have the extra phases of time to kill.

You guys should really do the Grenade way, with master commando I can pull about 400K of FS in 1 buff session

well i like to mix it up. do some grinding on giant baz nitch and some farming of ns. if i was commando i guess i could finish faster and switch to farm ns.
with about 1.5 trees of grinding left im gonna try and grind it out entirely on ns. i have phase 4, 1 and 2 to do it so i think thats plenty of time.

I just finished the grind on wednesday using swordsman and TKA! Now I'm waiting on the old man to come...get over here...
