Havea girlfriend

Do odd jobs (eg data-capturing, filing) at a printing and repro company. Oddly i do a lot of accounting, weird for an engineer, heh.

Play 6-9 hrs a week during varsity time, mainly on weekends.

10-15 hrs now during varsity break.

Another SAFFA! Cool. One thing, Univarsity - was that intended or a simple mistake? (maybe Unifarsity?)

I would say I am a casual player. I have a wife and 4 kids!! I play for about 2 hours a night, plus or minus depending on family events. I work a 60+ hour job a week8:30-7:30 6 days a week. I play more on the one day i get off (Sunday). I have only been playing for a month now and have been in the village for a little over a week. I am prepared to be 6 mo to a year for jedi. My only concern is a couple of new games scheduled to be released this spring that are along the same lines of my intrigue (Lord of the Rings). Being released online so not sure if I will stay with this or start playing that game and drop this one. I would like to continue with both, but with my time I am not sure which yet But may play a little of both and just be jedi later than sooner.

All auctions can be dropped at my vendors in Aviano, Rori.

Usually only play late Friday nights and weekends. On more this week since my darts/pool teams are either finished for the season, or on break for the holidays. Usually about 5 to 10 hours a week.

And I am a Network Engineer (10 years), but not for SOE.

Figure I'll chime in here....

Full time electrical engineer at a utility in NY, working 45+ hours per week. Have a wife, house and a dog. I'm content if I can play one to two hours in an evening. Weekends are usually no different -happy if I can play a couple hours each day.

I try to play as much as I can, which can be anywhere from 8-15 hours on a good week. But family, job, etc always has priority, so alot of times it is much less.

So I would say Casual player.

I fear the grind.......

Would have to say casual here. Sous chef 40+ hrs a week , wife, 7 yr old and a 6month old.

Have been in game since luanch and play maybe 2 to 3 hrs a day. Days off a bit more but spend most time RP and not trying to grind anything. Have managed to unlock cambat anf highened reflexes but not boxes in them to date. HEHE

Casual....

I am able to play maybe 6 hours a week. That thing called a wife makes it her mission in life to make sure I play as little a possible.

2 young kids (3 & 6) + wife + FTJ (Network Manager, 40+ a week) + SWG = OUTTA MY MIND! I have brought up the same discussion with some of my co-workers that play and they say SWG is for "Hardcore Gamers" so in essence us "casual gamers" are 2nd class citizens. I started playing last year (2003) and quit earlier this year (2004) due to the time I was putting in only to start playing again after JTL release. It is total love/hate for me due to the repetitive nature of grinding, the economy and bugs but I do have so much fun exploring the SWG universe and meeting other people. So ultimately I spend 1 buff session a night and 2 to 4 on the weekends, hardly casual but that's what it takes for me to get anywhere in game. I need to get a job with SOE so I can feed my addiction and get paid to do it!

I'm probably qualified as being a "casual" gamer since I've beenaway from any kind of internet gaming during the regular weekdays the past five to six months. I study in another town and live at a dorm there without internet connection, so I can only play friday evening to sunday afternoon when I'm with my family before being off to skewl' again. That *roughly* qualifies me for about 4-6 buff sessions at max, provided I don't do much else during the weekend.

I do get to play alot more during the holidays though.
