Thread: Questions that I have posed to the Developers Lets see what they say.
I would like to know if our min/max damage on our lightsabers will EVER be on par with the rest of the elite professions.
I hunted last night with a player that had an unslicedrifle 600-1100 dmg. I am stuck with a lightsaber with a max damage of 700 and our CAP is 800.
ALSO, what about a boost in accuracy? A ranged player with a few dabblings can reach 300+ in accuracy. I am MLS with FS Melee Accuracy and I have an accuracy of only 235.
Add to the Healer issues:
What is the point of Master Healer now? With the removal of BF its pretty much useless. Can we get something in Master Healer thats worth Keeping it?
Mind Costs on Heals are outrageous. Force cost on Heals are outrageous. Sap still has its use but mainly crap. Master Healer is about te most useless skill set out there. At least powers get cloak and a few other things that at least look cool.
Timers are too long and not to mention the healing bugs where:
1. I heal someone I am not clicked on instead of healing myself ( yeah nice one made me die vs a BH one day)
2. The icon flashes and cycles but Woopie! I heal for nothing with Total heal

I have to agree. And people wonder why the devs do not read the forums. So much time is wasted sorting through worthless posts like that.
What about powers? The stupid zip bars make our status as a ranged proffesion void. Force defense still renders a person imune to powers attacks. Weaken is useless, our ability to put out decent DPS is non existant, intimidate is a joke, and breach is innefective as ever!
Lost of things need to be fixed in all of Jedi, but don't forget powers either. ![]()

Jedi Profession:
1.When are the Pearl drops getting fixed? Jedi is a worthless profession without decent pearls to equip Lightsabers properly. This is obviously needed to be able to fend off the multiple BH encounters especially with the inadequate healing abilities of a Jedi at the moment and/or the every day grind.

4.With regards to Jedi Cloak, will the following be fixed:
a.Jedi while on Force Cloak are /tar-able.

b.Jedi while on Force Cloak can be agro’d by NPCs while running around in dungeons and in the wild.
c.Jedi while on Force Cloak can be seen just by the shadow below them that do not disappear if a player is looking at shadows underthesimpleoption.
d.Jedi are able to attack single and multiple targets while cloaked; combat spam will say nothing about what is happening because of this.

5.Jedi Discipline – Force Healer:

a.This profession costs far more than any healer profession to grind Xp wise yet is less efficient. How is this going to be fixed?
b.Also the xxx4 line of healer because Jedi very rarely worry about the effects of Poisons and Diseases let alone bleeds which do next to nothing worthwhile at the moment.

6.Jedi Discipline – Force Enhancer
a.The xx4x (resist buff) line in enhancer seems to be worthless due to the lack of state effects actually doing anything at the moment and also poison and disease resists seem to not work either.

7.Any chance of a comment on the implementation of a Master/Padawan System?

How about being reconized for your JEDI's age. Like veteran rewards for the oldest jedi? IE: the 1yr mark, the 2 yr mark, and THE OLDEST jedi on each server. This would probably be the most wanted reward if any and because of the current drop rates probably the most needed reward.
Not trying to be rude, but your job as a correspondent is to help liason the concerns and ideas of the complete (past, current, and future) population in regards to the profession. Further, as our representivite you 'unstated' duty is to find coheision between the population and help focus discussions to the postive. Making statements like the above really does not seem to fall in either of those categories and honestly the last thing that should be brought to the devs attention when there are enough issues on the table that need to be resolved.
Bluntly "This would probably be the most wanted reward if any and because of the current drop rates probably the most needed reward." is what triggered my post as what your saying with that is 'reward' older players with a perfect tuned pearl, of which they already have hadthe ability to obtain, when the current layer of players cant hope to even acheive one?
Lets stop focusing on the past, stop focusing on the changes that brought us here, and start focusing on the needs/changes/fixes/(insert whatever here) to address viablity/use of those trees that have outstanding concerns.
Bluntly you need to stop 'pervceiving' what each tree's role is and project the concerns of those players as -they- see fit, not your top concerns. Next time you go to the devs I suggest you post the questions here and let > US < tell you what the priorities are. MPowers need some functional changes and you can see my suggestions in other posts .. take THOSE as a suggestion to the devs, not some if the lower priority bs you have listed.
Any additions of healingpowers or denerfing of heals probably wont happen, so asking for that is falling on deaf ears... even if 4000 was denerfed that still doesnt help Master Healers.
Doesnt it make sense that if:
* a heal of 500 for8 skillpoints cost 50+10 = 60
*a heal of 1000 for 22 skillpoints cost 100+10 = 110
* a heal of 1500 for 28 skillpoints cost 150+10 = 160
= then a heal of 3000 for 89 skillpoints should be 300+10 = 310 instead of 625?

i think amorbreak is becomming an issue
2 professions have it all melee can dabbelin it
but there are 2 combat professions who cant get protection vs ab
mdef mehn and tkm should get a protection vs ab
all other can slice there amor for protection
and since ab is so poverfull everone would be dump to not do that slice
btw getting killed from a swordsman or jedi in 3 hits is not the pvp i thought would happen in cu
Could we add this to the list??
Currently when crafting lightsabers there is no benefit or penalty asociated with the different types.
If I craft a new gen 4 1 handed, a 2 hand, and a double blade using all the smae resources and placing the exp points into the same place on each one all of the sabers come out with identical stats. This should not be this way
1 handed sabers should have a distinct speed advantage at the expense of a lower max damage
double bladed should be slower but have a higher max damage
And 2 handed should be a balance in between 1 handed and double bladed stats wise.

I hope you didn't actually ask the questions this way. The devs are going to say: "Jedi seem to be getting around fine at the moment, aren't they?" You can't make points with weak exaggerations like this to them, they'll blow it off as more baseless whining.
