Up to 20 million eh? Do these clear crystal gets appraised somehow? I thought the only way to tell the quality was for Jedi to tune it first? Or is it a crap shoot for them to buy them?

Jedi can see the quality of the crystal or pearl, however tuning is random..and the stats the crystal will tune to are totally random. However, crystals/pearls of a higher quality have a higher % chance of tuning well, thus they are far more valuable.

The qualities for a crystal are:


  • Poor

  • Fair

  • Good

  • Quality

  • Select

  • Premium

  • Flawless

Krayt Dragon Pearls come in the following qualities:



  • Good

  • Quality

  • Premium

  • Flawless

Unfortunatly, all premium and flawless pearls are not currently dropping, along with quality, premium, and flawless pearls. Your best bet is to kill some krayt dragons in hope of Good pearls (750k-1.5 mil), BH missionsfor Good crystals (500k-1 mil), and the level 111 NPCs wandering around dant for Quality crystals (1-4 mil).


I'm just going by prices on my server - This isn't a guaranteed price guide, as prices will flucuate based on your server's economy.

Hmm..well I suppose I shall put the pearl and clear crystal I have on the vendor and see how much it goes for...not like I will be Jedi in anything less the 15 more weeks for total FS tree unlock and then X amounttime finishing the FS xp banking....might as well make some good cash for a rainy shopping day....

Dunno....but yah gotta figure if there is a crapload for cheap on the bazaar sold by multiple folks..they are eitheruninformed (like me it seems)or unloading them as junk...what say you loot experts?




Color crystals provide differing types of elemental damage, in addition to changing the color of the saber's "blade". There are alsosome "special" lightsaber color crystals given as rewards for completing quests.



  • Red = Heat

  • Dark Red = Heat

  • Orange = Heat

  • Brown = Heat

  • Sunrider's Destiny(Aqua) = Heat

  • Blue = Cold

  • Dark Blue = Cold

  • Yellow = Cold

  • Dark Yellow = Acid

  • Light Green = Acid

  • Dark Green = Acid

  • Light Purple = Electrical

  • Dark Purple = Electrical

  • Bane's Heart(Pink) = Electrical


      • So-called "clear" crystals are power crystals, and add to the damage output of the saber, much in the same way as do Krayt dragon pearls (tho typically to a lesser degree, depending on tuning).


      Color crystals do tend to run cheaper than power crystals on vendors and the bazaar, for obvious reasons. If you see color crystals going for 5-20K, that's probably about right (though prices at the 20K end of the scale could be considered a tad high, considering). If you see power (clear) crystals going anywhere in that price range, snap them up; they're easily worth 10 times a color crystal, depending on quality.

      fixed back.. those qualities still exist, if you read my post instead of jumping in head first and trying to prove I'm wrong, you would see that I listed teh qualities that are not currently dropping
