So if you converting weapon xp to fs xp to fill in 4 box in one roll say ranged acc it'll take 36.8 mil of weapon xp at a 1 to 30 convert rate that is like doing 7 prof's and sence i need 2 branches that means thats like doing 14 prof's ware in the world dose that make this sys better or are they saying that they are not try to make it better just harder so that you would get tired of the grind and keep jedi's to a low number ? plz some one slap the dev's for me if im right

Apparently, Survey quest is during Phase 2, not Luck. Just read this from others on these boards who did it today expecting the Luck unlock and got Survey instead.
Please fix on the guide, I've sent many people to it for info.

Please don't even complain... So that means you had 4 free unlocks if your talking about two rows ? There are some people that have to wait the entire legnth of the phases which takes 4 months JUST TO GET THROUGH THE PHASE PART. And your complaining about 2 phases. You better realize where your at.
1st Point: This is where people don't understand how this system takes less time than doing 14 professions (don't even bring up crap like Image Designer that you can master in 5 hours). If you didn't jerk around the whole time you have been on SWG, then you should have 3 Masters, 2 atleast that help each other. That means that you can SLUAGHTER the exp. 1 million exp can be gotten with time to spare in 3 hours. So yes about 32 hours of non stop grinding for Combat professions. During a normal profession you start off weak and have to gain more power and speed as you progress. During the Village, you should already be Uber enough to get the 1 million exp every 3 hours. If your not, well sorry, most people who are serious about Jedi (by being prepared before even getting to the village) are cranking that. So your killing 100 times more creatures because you are a Master rather than wasting time being a newb starting off.

2nd Point: So to correct your "calculations" if your doing 900k exp every 3 hours, that means that you are cranking out master in a professions extremely fast. If you were talking about professions like TKM, its about 4 million exp that you need to master it. So it would take around 12 1/2 hours to do TKM at 900k every 3 hours. So if you can multiply by 3, combat professions that are like that (Fencer, Swordsman, Pikeman), if you did one of those professions every 12 hours, you will only do 3 combat professions in One Branch.
One Branch= 3 combat Professions if you are doing 900k every 3 hours.
So to sum up, because I know I lost you, instead of doing 14 professions your only doing 6 for your 2 rows. So lucky you, other people have to do about 18 hard professions total by the time they are done (not counting how long it takes to get other types of exp not just combat), and it will take them 4 months where as it will only take you 6 weeks. (3 weeks if you grind a row in a week like I have).
3rd Point: So complain all you want to the Devs, they know that since you did enough work to get 4 free unlocks, that they are doing you a favor by not making you grind more than 6 more combat professions (This is all while you should be a Master of atleast 3 professionsm instead of starting as a newb trying to get exp.)
If this is not the case, and you can't grind 900k exp every 3 hours, im sorry man.. but you should have had enough masters to take out 2 Bull Rancor missions in about 15 min. But considering this is your first post in 9 months since you have joined the forums, i guarentee that you have not asked any questions, or read up about how the system really works. So thats what i'm doing for you, and anyone else that is complaining about the new system. I understand that the new system sucks if you have no free unlocks. Well, if you have no free unlocks, then that means you didn't even attempt the old Jedi system (which is why they gave free unlocks as a reward for getting so far in the old system). So if you didn't participate in the old system, you don't deserve to be far along in this one. In your case Coxbone, you did enough to get you four free unlocks, and you have not the slightest clue how lucky you are to only have to do 2 branches.
My post is a response to the collection of annoying and rediculous posts that I read on the forums about this new jedi system. Do I like the new jedi system, yes, because I only have 2 branches left, and I went silent after 5 holocrons with the last system, So I did enough work and preparation to be where i'm at, and I will have padawan in about 6 weeks. I did enough research so that by the time I got to the village, I knew exactly what to do, instead of standing around complaining. All of the credit goes to this thread and the Creator for helping me figure out the new system. Thanks for the Guide! I haven't made any mistakes about what I'm learning at the village, and I can just get right to the grindfest again. No I do not likehaving togrind morefor the new system, but you have to do what you have to do. If you just stand around and complain about the new system, you are going to miss a phase and then you are really screwed.

Great Guide!
However...we are now in phase 2...and I just did the Heightened Senses Quest, and I definately unlocked Surveying not Luck.
Anyone else notice this?

I have no unlocks and have to wait 5 months, we can trade anytime.
Friend of mine did 18 professions, and she got 3 unlocks.
Another friend did 22+, and only got 2 unlocks.
Be thankful for your 4, many would give their right arm for them.

I have a question about the Heightened Senses quest giver. In the guide the NPC is supposed to be named Alpoka. I cannot however find this NPC. I have gone through the village several times trying to /target Alpoka but to no avail. I have seen several other posts with people asking the same question. Does this NPC exist and if so can someone respond with a waypoint.
I am looking to go up the luck tree if that makes any difference.

Couple things, to answer:
1) It's Eovlin that gives the Sense quest this Phase. BUT...see #2.
2) Luck is not available this phase. Most are finding this out today when they do it. Eovlin gives the Survey tree unlock. I know the guides all say Luck is 2 and Survey is 3. But, either some info got mixed up when people wrote them, or SOE decided to switch them when it went live. I still assume the latter, as many people report that Luck was indeed in Phase 2 on TC. But it has been confirmed by many. The senses quest right now is *not* Luck, it's Survey. So, don't waste your unlock this phase unless you want Survey.
This personally sucks for me and a friend, as we both really wanted Luck, but not sure we're willing to tack on an additonal 12 weeks on our wait time to get it.

OK im doing whips quest got to the waypoint on endor killed the siths ...didnt get the supplies crate then the mission despawned sp there is no ships no siths no supplies crate no waypoint and to top it off whip wont give me a new mission or any way to reset . I know of 5 other people that sent me tells in the game with the same problem . How do we get attention to this bug we just want to reset and get back to the quest.

lol , plz dont think i was complaning just for my self but for all those whom to me were screwed when it came to the switch. I've been playing this game sence the first month it came out. if u had done 20 prof and you unlock only 2 then you were done unjust for the time you spent playing and paying for a game that miss led us all to beleive that at first your efort would be rewarded. I sat back and watched this game go from something worth wild to play to watching all my buddies quit for a lack of comintment<-----(prob not spelt right ) to making this game diff from all the rest, yes the graphics of this game are cool but it all comes down to : are you doing the same thing you were doing last year grinding and more grinding. and when you say get back to grinding lol what you think i been doing for over a year now, we are all making a investment with are time, energy and money so we can have fun, i signed in to the forum 9 months ago and never posted till this day, and all i get is a stop wining mesg. lol im not complaning just to complane but am worried about the direction this game has headed. look around and see how many veterans are still around my town was full of them and now its a ghost town. just because you have posted more than I dont mean that you know more but have too much time on you hands out side of the game, when I spend it in the game, till today. funny how2 post and I got the feed back of stop complaning you dont know how lucky you are and that id trade with you any day, and I say to you that no matter if I start at with 4 unlock or none I would of said the same thing the convertion rate is a bit high and the grind is realy too long to keep people intrested in the game for the long run. If you didn't have to pay to play maybe it be diff. but people always move on to something ells when they get bored.
by the way I grind 200k xp every 30mins= 1.2mil xp every 3hrs so hold back on your big speechs onhow muchi should be grinding and how long it should take me to get there lol, and at the moment im master medic, master doc, and a 3/0/0/3 rifleman
