I want to know if is better get all branchies in the Village and learn all at the same time, or just learn one at time according to opening each one?
Im sorry if this has been covered. I have read most of the thread from the beginning, and some of my questions have been hinted on, and just when I think I have the answer I am looking for, I read another reply that seems to go against what I thought my answer was.
Anyway, I have just returned after a long absense. I didnt think I wanted to try for Jedi, because when I left, it was just a profession grind, and that really turned me off. From the looks of this guide though, this seems really cool...the way it should have been from the beginning.
So, on to my questions:
I am a MBH/Master Marksman/Master Carbineer (I think thats what it is, but its not really important). My first question is, will I have to change any of my professions to do any part of this quest? MBH took a long time to get, and I would rather not drop it to take another profession (unless its Jedi). To be a little more clear, I see parts in here where it looks like I have to craft medicine, or some other components for something? Do I have to drop my current skills and train in these professions to do this?
One more question that isnt really directly related to this: When I left, there was no such thing as Combat Level (as far as I remember). I see now that I am level 68. I know I will probably be directed to the CU page that explains this
, but how do I gain more combat levels?
Thanks for any help....its really appreciated

Unfortunately it is still a huge treadmill, this time mainly combat related XP that is traded 30 for 1. I personally consider a Jedi so much more than a combat toon, but it is mainlycombat that counts. The Senses are that tuned down and almost useless that a Jedi hardly consider these.

The parts that are not combat related are not necessary to take on, medicine for example. To do most part of the Village quests you don't have to take up any other profession. But some rewards are really cool and then you should consider other professions as Artisan, BE, Medic or Scout, etc.
However, every skillbox at the Village takes one skill point, hence you perhaps need to drop something to get the boxes. All in all you need to free up 24 points, that is, the 6 branches needed times 4 boxes, Novice boxes are free and there are no Master boxes.

To get CL 80, which is almost a must since the Siths are CL 76 / 77, you need to Master two elite professions and one basic Master, if I am not mistaken. Sounds weird that you are not since you already have a few Masters. Perhaps you should use some character builder application, such as at Allakhazam, and see what template is useful to you. And remember to have 24 free points for the Village skill boxes.
Indeed, the majority of this guide is awesome, but there is still one glaring mistake .. the Phase 2 and Phase 3 Quests from Eozlin are identical in the Guide.
Phase 2 opens Survey
Phase 3 opens Luck
Where is the info for the Phase 3 -Luck Tree Quest?

The quests are actually exactly the same. You do the same exact thing for both phase 2 and 3 for Eozlin.
