can we get a answer devs?
The devs don't monitor this forum. And if they did they would say "Your server will change when it changes and not a second sooner or later." There's a certain number of ticks that have to happen before it changes. It's not under their control.

here's a quote from a csrjohn in general chat
"the phase change will happen at the time it is supposed to. If it takes a reset, then that is what we will do but I believe it's "supposed" to update on its own."

I've gone back through this thread and found that the other server changes were at random times of the day and didn'trequire a reset.
There is hope! =)

I've been trying to ask the people that reported in phase change if they had been on and it changed or if they logged in and it was changed. It's possible it had chagned at reset but they didnt' get on and reprot it till later.

Yeah, but some of the past phase changes were reported around 1600EST. And I'd have to say that someone would have noticed by then. And that's waaaay late for a server reset.

Can anyone on a server that has changed confirm that their phase changed without a restart. I want to believe this but surely one of the 8 servers that was ment to change today would have done so by now.
Im sure the devs wouldnt reply or say anything constructive cause its in SOE policy to treat people that play computer games like kids and never tell them anything. Which is strange given their heart warming Thanksgiving post that I have to read everytime I log into to find the Phase hasnt shifted.
'It will change when it changes' = 'like we are going to admit the server maintainence was ment to do this but we havent read a post for months so had no idea how many crashes and down time these servers have had over the last 30 days'

Until someone confirms otherwise, all we have is what the devs have told us which is it requires a server restart once the time ticks off.
According to JustG: "A bit more info... the cycles are based on a specific number of seconds (1814400 to be precise) that is ticked off by system uptime. The server resets the day after the cycle has ticked off. Again, the value can change based on village load. And the uptime can be affected by unexpected downtime (like maintenance, etc.) So it really is approximately 3 weeks."
11.3 is coming out this week so there will be another restart sometime this week, hopefully sooner than later.

Was there a server reset yesterday? If not, then how do you explain the other servers that changed yesterday?
