It's actually Burgess Meredith from Grumpy ol men. The Taking the Skin Boat to Tuna Town , Bringin One-Eye to the optomotrist, taking the log to the beaver guy.
And who cares . I only come here for smurf talk...
Nah seriously , I went GLOWY last nite All i had to do was Quit rebel faction , lost 8 boxes of pilot, pay 700k for faction, and do the Imp badge insteade of the 2nd Warrens... lady in warrens was bugged and i got no code. BTW I would do it this way again... soloing warrens isn't as easy as soloing imp badge.

Ok back to the smurf talk....I really didn't mean to hijack this thread....
So if Smurfette is a post-op or cross-dresser...there's still some lingering questions....like where the hell did the 4 "kiddy smurfs" come from (and please, no MJ jokes)? I'm for the stork theory, but they were just kids....suddenly they just appeared as kids....they were never babies...
So are you saying that Gargamel was actually in fact Smurfettes's pimp and that the Smurfs converted her? Ok so that makes the Smurfs more of a religious faction? Hmmmmmm so it'sPuty-Tang meets Jerry Farewell...interesting.....
Personally, I think the show was all about sexual frustration and drugs. Smurfette was a tease....and shrooms??? Come on...that's so a plea for get baked and get *bleep* (I have been censored). Or wait.....if she was a post-op...perhaps the shrooms were how they were able to, uhhhum, release. Leaves room for plausible denialabilty....
Maybe the Snorks had something to do with it.....

The more I think about it the more I think smurfette was in fact a cross dresser. Going by this theory all of the smurfs were male. I've also concluded that they were in fact asexual and reproduced by spores that were imbedded in the shrooms (another spore bearer). We just never saw the newborn growth aspect of this - kids just showed up. The producers probably didn't feel it was important to include since they just kept getting more and more demand for smurfette to have more airtime. This of course they all found humorous since smurfette wasa man in disguise...and granted more airtime.
Or I could speculate that smurfette was female, but acted more like the Queen Bee in terms of reproduction. She released the spores which were then fertilized and grew into new smurfs. Based on how many new "babies" we saw during the series, I would also speculate that she can only do this once every 3-5 years.
I put waaaaay too much thought into that for a Friday.

The kiddie Male smurfs are age-reversed versions of full grown smurfs. Father Time had something to do with this.(Natural became Nat, Slouchy, and Snappy)
The female kiddie smurf (Sassette)was then created by the make kiddie smurfs through a duplication of Gargamel's original Smurfette spell.
They were called Smurflings.
