Quite apart from the fact that when I tried this the crystals were bugged, its very hard for me to get a group of eight together and specifying specific professions is out of the question. Also I personally am melee and intend on always staying this way, I prefer it to ranged, why should the quest be biased against me because of the profession I chose, I thought the whole point of the CU was balance?

So first fix the crystals, then make it so that there is a melee possibility for completing this quest. I love the CU so far apart from the fact that this quest is unbalanced.

I'd appreciate it if anyone on corbantis who can get a ranged group togethercould help me out, its hard to getenough people to help at UK times.

the crystals worked for me ...i heard you need to logg out and back in if they dont work.but i dont know...oh ya if we could get a group on bloodfint ogether would be nice since the group that try to help me earlier is on different time zones

I put this on another post, but want to repeat it here. As others have mentioned, one of my green crystals is bugged. I can take out the first green one, then the second green one goes to zero and just hangs there. The two red crystals and Mellachie both have automatic healing and can fully restore their health in one heal. So it looks like the only way to take Mel out is to take the red crystals out first? And to do that you need to take out both green crystals first? If so, I am stuck. I have tried this several times.

Just a tought.. In case I should be so fortunate, and get the mission without the bugged crystals..

Would it be possible to have the entire guild kill mell? Or do you need to be in the group who kills him?

Cant see how he could survive against 30-50 master riflemen...

I was just thinking, which is often dangerous in my case, how would the crystals possibly be affected by the Combat Replacement. And at that, why the heck wasn't it tested? Ok, going back to null mode.

Just wanted to post that the first few times I tried the mission, it was the second green crystal that was bugged. Now when I try, it is the final red crystal that won't blow up. All the others blow just fine. Anyone else experiencing this?

Since a few people have stepped forward to say logging out & back in to make the crystals respawn has worked for them, I plan to try that (so far, no results, but I haven't given up yet).

The same thing just happened to me, i thought the logging thing worked but ended up with the last red one being bugged. Non of the colors change and update like they're suppose to either, i was wondering if those that had them all destroyed logged in to one green or two green... would save a lot of time to know if its bugged from the start.

Worked for us lastnight.

The guildie that had the mission went out solo and took out the crystals one-by-one.

Once he was done, he called all his friends to come out. By the time I got there only Dak and Mell left.

I droped a base near there.

We attacked Dak first and ran to the base. The NPC didnt attack Dak right away, but when his healh was 1/2 way they attacked him and killed him.

We tried the same thing on Mell. But Mell kept running back to his hut, then up to the base and back to the hut. Once we got him to the base the 3rd time, we kept rooting, and snaring him there. A MDefender Jedi was tanking him and the NPC's never attacked. We killed him on our own. There was only 5 of us.

I'd say its fixed, if the mission guy kills the crystals on his own 1 at a time.
