Thread: Exchange Rate
first off i jumpinto this thread looking for XP exchange rates, and lastly SOE does change things an i have a 60 name friends list that only about 5 ever log on. I am a Power Gamer and if i am not at school or work i'm on SWG often just siting in my house chatting with my best SWG friend. once upon a time my 60 name list was all yellow and every player would be on during the weekends. and because the changes (weather directly or because my friend's friend quit so they quit) i have 5 friends: regardless (and not to rail on you or anyone in particular) i still play because i enjoy the SWG universe and just plain out love Star Wars (every SW game out i've played and beaten multiple times... KOTOR gimme a break too easy i beat it and all side quests the first time i played it in less than8 hours ie: one day's hard playing) and i can't wait for battlefront 2. but anyway i have lost friends from the changes and all my RL friends don't even play SWG (I got one who is looking into it its hard to get people off World of Warcraft or World of Shamancraft as my one friend calls it lol) it'll be a first that a RL person i know will be in teh same universe as I. but do you know how i cope with losing all my SWG friends? I MAKE NEW ONES! on my server there are over 100k people registered and i only know of 60 that are not playing! there are people passing me all the time shout one down do a few missions with em then exchange names or just use /addfriend command real easy and most people are always happy to do group missions. another way to make easy friends JION A GUILD you instantly find at least ten players that have similar i deals and play style to yourself. planed excursions (mine raids imperial bases on Naboo every day)
If you're are looking for me on a server my main Character is Ishtar a Twilek MBH/TKA in Naritus server (one of the first servers) i've been in the SWG game since three weeks after release
To rant or post an option is acutlly a very good right and venting is good also. That is want makes america great. we never get really mad at the government becuase we can always let the steam out by venting. That said, we should be careful of how we vent. Some can be percieved as attacks , then others will feel compelled to defend . So venting is good but to incite riot is bad. It is hard to walk or see the line sometimes for the speaker or for the person lisening.
I guess we all need to practice both skills to get our message accross.
Good post reminding that not all posts are evil.
