Because, you know, the devs, who don't work weekends (it could probably be arranged to get that though. Everyone willing to pay $5-$10 more per month for it?) didn't really get started on it til today. Give them a day or two. You've got 3 weeks, and the quest takes what, a day? As far as I can tell, everyone who is bugged for it already has done it, so that should make it even easier. Grab a ranged weapon, tab, attack, repeat.
Complaining about the devs and SOE and the CSRs (well, from what I've seen, maybe it's ok to complain about the CSRs) isn't going to make it go any faster. Hell, if they have to comb through hundreds of posts to find the pertinent information on the bug (I've seen people comment on a bunch of different theories) to find out all the details and be able track down the exact bug, it's going to take them even longer.
Admittedly, this post is just adding to that, but oh well. The point is, as a programmer, I would not want to try going through the mess that this games code is rather likely to be by now, trying to find a bug, without a hell of a lot of information to narrow down where I was looking.
We have all seen that they do work weekends on priority issues

Let me ask you. have you done the math on how much SOE gets a month from all our subscriptions? Most of us are paying more a month because we have more then 1 account. As far as us complaining, that is our right as a consumer. If somone rubbed a turd on your bigmac wouldnt you want to talk to the manager? As far as i can tell CSR's are as worthless as screen doors on a submarine. All they do is tell you there is nothing they can do, that is their answer for everything. As far as those people being bugged are ones that completed it last time, wrong. I never finished last phase 4 and her is telling me this time that i should take some R&R. So its by far not isolated to just people who completed last phase 4. If it wasnt for companies releasing Half-A$$ed products we the gamers wouldnt need to test their products for them while at the same time paying them, they should be paying us.
Let me ask you, have you done the math on a cost/profit analysis of the game? If not, I guess you have no clue as to what you're running your mouth about.
Paying money doesn't give you the right to make a jackass of yourself. Think I am wrong? Go down to your local bar, pay the cover, buy a couple drinks. You're a paying customer now, right? Now jump up on the bar and start ranting about how the service sucks and the bartender should be paying you and the waitresses are as worthless as screendoors on a submarine. Watch how fast the big guys escort your paying butt out the door.
If you think you're testing a halfassed product, what kind of fool are you? Stop paying and go play something that is complete. Bet you won't be playing a mmorpg though...

Do you? lets hear your explanation smarty. It apears you have no clue either. Stop running your darn mouth and tell us, oh wait you dont know. Tell you what, they put a spread sheet on their costs to run this game Vs. the subscription intake and we will see. Do you have access to their end of year profit analysis? didnt think so.
Also paying money does give you a right to complain. I am saying if you are not getting the service you paid for, you have a right to voice your opinion on the matter. Or do you like your buddy Stalin and his values? If they didnt want to hear our opinions on the game, why would they have open forums?
Let me ask you , do you think this game is even remotly complete? If there is such a thing in a MMoRPG. How long has it been since we had any story arc quests? If this game system was even close to polished why would they need a whole rebalance of the system? I think you are the fool my friend, especially if you think just because i dislike the way something is being ran i should skitter off without saying what i think is wrong. There is a whole lot good about this game that keeps me here.
P.s. Try attacking somones statment, not the person making it. Or is that too much to ask?

no no nooooo
me clickies
haha actually I'm just testing that out, make sure I've got the procedure right. ignore me.
Ohhh, right, comment on relevant issues....uhhh....
Yeah the CSRs are basically poopscreens between us and clueful people, the DEVs need to be more responsive to issues that affect the more time-committed players (FS)...oh and I put my money on Saturday for a fix and thank holy god this didn't affect me like it did so many of you poor souls.
Cheers!
