I'm in the Huurton Stalker camp myself. Seems to be the best MOB's to area attack (I'm TKM) and in a large group can pull between 70-80k XP per lair - sometimes more. Doesn't take too long to cap out. Worst part is time it takes to travel from Outpost to village to convert. Rinse, repeat.

Ok, I used to be a non-believer as well, but now I know it can be done.
(been doing it for the past 3 weeks). I never liked the gernade thing, wasn't
patient enough to through 20 nades till kill one creature. I am a MBH with
Pistoleer and Carbineer Dabbling. I learned that the thing that really slows
you down is traveling time, solo groups get great spawns off the lairs, but you
have to take time to get the missions, travel...etc. I can max BOTH pistols
and Carbines in 1 buff session. (3 hrs 20 mins). I don't like waiting for mind buffs so
I use a lot of ahrisa and brandy. Now, I can already hear some of you saying
"HOW?", so here you go.
I use a Scatter pistol/Geo/Republic Blaster for pistol, and a Laser/DXR6 for
carbines (all really nice, though not uber, and all sliced for damage). I got
to Science outpost on Dath and start walking towards Aurilla. I used to make
sure I was in solo group, but with the death of solos, I now just
group with my droid, and leave it sitting in the SO. I just basically kill everything I
find between SO and aurilla. from about 1k to 3k out from the SO you get
lots of Gaping Spider (hunters,Giant/mutant baz nictchand especially Rhoa Kwi
spawns. Now here is thereal trick. Don't demolish every lair you come up
to...what I do is when I find a lair, I kill the current spawn (takes very little time),
then waypoint the lair. I then walk around and see what other lairs I can find within
about 200-300 m. I then waypoint another lair and kill the spawns there, and so on
,..by the time I get back to the original lair, the Rhoa Kwi's/Spiders/Baz Nitches have all
respawned, so I kill them and ...rinse and repeat. I can leave the lair usually
3-4 times and then on the last time I start tapping. Even though you get the
"empty lair" bonus damage...just hit it once, more will come out.
This takes patience, and the xp will come in clumps (when you find a good
circle of lairs), but if you don't find a good circle, you just keep killing whatever
you find (the odd NS ranger or initiate is nice...stalkers I have to avoid since they
are 100% to everything I use). I do use AOE when the opportunity presents
itself, but I've found that directing my fire tends to do fine....(sometimes if you
run from Rhoa Kwi's they will stay at range and spit at you, if they do this,
AOE is really nice). Just the other day I found 5 Rhoa Kwi lairs within a 200m
circle...and 2 of them were 4 spawn lairs rather then the usual two...I estimated
that I earned 500k pistol in about 20-30 minutes.
I can honestly say that I have been doing this for 3 weeks, and I have capped
both xps (pistols and carbines) in all of my buff sessions but one and in that
one I came up about 30k short of maxing.
