I just made my first lightsaber last night just before I went to sleep as part of my padawan trials...
I named it Ja'Sen's First LightSaber

got no sabers myself but helped with the brainstorm to name some for my friends:
CDEF Glowystickofnoobness
darkfalcyon(as opposed to Lightsaber)
clayless (2handed as opposed to claymore)
Palpatine's Pinata
ooohshinystick
office fluorescent with a handle
deathonnastick
Scimitar of irreparable damage (a wink to schlockmercenary)
the only 2 that were finally used were darkfalcyon and deathonnastick

What a grand pleasure
To see your minds tick
When naming the coveted
Bright glowing stick
Some infuse humor
And display their elation
By whimsically naming
Their Jedi creation
Others choose names
That embody the thrill
Of this formidable weapon's
Propensity to kill
So what's in a name?
I mean, who really cares,
What these grinders of death
Name their force guided wares
It's an old geek like me
Who applauds these young Knights
Because I recall
The first saber fights
I was sixish...no seven
And believed that somehow
I'd be a saber
Wielding Jedi by now
I left the theater
And told dad my intentions
And requested he immediately
Craft me one of these inventions
He smile and said "Son,
I'm not skilled in that way.
But maybe you'll learn
How to make one some day"
That some day is coming
I'll be Jedi and then
Aftertwenty eightyears
I'll be seven again
I think I'll name mine: Childhood Dream

My first one will be named "Finally"...havn't given it much thought after that.

Shenanagins probably comes from Super Troopers 
"Hey Farva, whats that resturant with all the crazy &$*# on the walls?"

I'm a looooooooooong loooooooooooong way away from naming anything but, since I'm a baseball fan.......would it be wrong to name it The Big Unit?
