Either I'm doing something wrong, or you can no longer get by on Eozlin's Phase 3 quest with only Novice Artisan.

I did fine for the first few steps until I reached Aluminum. It doesn't show up as an option on any of the Survey Tools, meaning I can't survey for it. Anyone else have this problem?

I guess you aren't doing anything wrong, but you think wrong

If Aluminum is not present at the planet you are, it will not show up in the Mineral Survey Tool. Go to another planet and survey it.

I just killed the sith outlaws and got the waypoint for The Village of Aurilia I am looking for suggestions on what level to go there, I am currently lvl 64 and have solo'ed pretty much most of the time. should i continue leveling to 80 before going there or would i be able to start there now. Any help would be appretiated. Thanks

If you feel comfortable killing level 78 Siths then go for it. Sometimes you will be ganked by 2 or 3 of them....oh then there are the Singing Nightsisters Clan that you occaisionally bump into...tough kills even at level 76....

Do you still have to be a Master Medic in order to unlock the Senses quests?

Awesome guide, answered almost all of the questions buzzing around in my head. I still have a couple of issues Im not clear on though!

1. Say I get to Master Ranger/Master BH in game, then become FS, get the visit and go to the village, do I lose my Ranger/BH skills? Or do I get another set added on for FS skills? Or, do I convert the lines I currently have as I go along gaining FS Lines? Can I use my old skills, or do they become obsolete now as Jedi skills, even Padawan ones are better? Does FS skills replace old skills or do they stay side by side? Im just not clear on this transition from normal to FS, hope this question makes sense

2. Im just starting out again after a break of a year, with a totally new account too, is there a *best* Prof template to use for while starting out as a Jedi, as in, somewhere someone mentions TKA being useful skillwise, so is TKA/Doc best? I tend to Duo mainly with my mate, and in all honesty, am strugging to think of classes I enjoyed more than any others when I last played, as I enjoyed all the ones I tried combat wise, which was most of them hehe.

Hope these questions make sense and that someone can help me out.

1. Force Sensitive skills and Jedi skill use regular Skill Points just like all other regular professions. After you've unlocked FS skill lines you can convert unused regular experience into specific types of FS experience (depending on which FS skills you wish to obtain). In order to "purchase" aFS skill box you must spend the appropriate FS experience and devote 1 Skill Point (except for the novice and master boxes). In order to qualify for Village exit quest you must purchase 6 full lines of FS skills, requiring you to devote 24 Skill Points in total (6 lines* 4 boxes each).

As I mentioned already, Jedi skills also use regular Skill Points. So once you bein learning Jedi skill boxes you will need to devote more Skill Points to them, essentially by sacrificing regular profession skill boxes in order to free up the Skill Points.

2. TKA and Doctor are an excellent combination to compliment your early Jedi grinding. They are much different now from when you last played them, but they work quite wellfor grinding...

Aha thank you! All the posts Ive read, noone makes it clear if the transition is instant or more gradual, thankfully they seem to be doing it gradual! Im also toying with the idea of doing shipwright, and the thought of instantly losing that would make me cry.

One last question then, sorry if this is answered somewhere else, but, I dont understand the rank progression. There seems to be more skills and boxes than points looking at the bloodfin char gen I was playing with outa curiosity.

Can you do a:

glowy -> Get thro village and become a padawan -> Kill Vader and Become a Jedi Lord

kinda thing for me?? (Yes I know theres more steps than that! However, the force is strong in me....)

i need some help. ok im all set to go to arullia and start doing the FS skill quests im thinkin ofdoing all 4 branches in combat prowess and doing ranged and melee defense skills in enhanced reflexes. now if i read the other posts right thats the 6 branches i need to do the exit quest and go on to start the jedi quests is that right?

here are some other questions i have

1.i shouldunlock and compleat 1 branch at a time like ranged accuracy before moving on to another branch?

2.if the phases last 3 weeks and i am unable to finish a branch in those 3 weeks would i be able to still train in that branch duringnext phaseor would i have to wait untill that phase comes around again?

That's correct.

That depends on you and how you like to achieve your results. It makes no difference in the overall process though.

However, since you can only unlock one branch every three weeks, most people usually just grind up that one branch while they wait for the phase to come around...

Once a branch is unlocked you can train in it at any time and in any phase, as long as you have the necessary FS XP. And, yes, you can exchange regular XP for any type of FS XP at any time as well.

Vindol wrote:

3. once started am i stuck doing only the FS skill grind or will i be able to hunt for fun and do other quests and piloting.

The "FS skill grind" is just like any other experience grind,it can be done where ever and when ever you want.

In the meantime, you can do what ever you want, including other "fun" things... in fact it's encouraged

Vindol wrote:

4 if i cant play for a long period of time is that going to screw things up or could i just pick back up later.

You can definitely pick up later!

The only thing you'll possibly miss out on is the phases as the come around and their associated quests/unlocks. However, they'll always come around again, so no worries really.

Vindol wrote:

thanks in advance. any suggestions on better 6 branches to unlock would be appretiated.

my template is.

master bounty hunter, master rifleman, scout 4xxx, marksman 4xx4, medic 4x4x, and novice docter

The branches are good and what most people usually pick nowadays.

However, be aware that the Ranged Speed line currently does not benefit a Jedi in any way, so that won't help you much. Also, Ranged Accuracy is onlyuseful if you plan on learning skills inthe Force Wielder discpline, it doesn't appear to affect any other Jedi skills though.

If you're looking for other suggestingto compliment aJedi's skills, some people also like to grab the Luck, Vehicle Control, Survival branches... but their usefulnessare almostnegligible.

Hope that helps!
