I unlocked 3 free skills(Melee Def., Acc. and Speed) did the phase 1 Enhanced Reflexes quest, when I talk to Paemos and ask what skills I can learn he lists the 3 I trained and the Phase 1 skill from Enhanced Reflexes, Survival, but when I go to Noldan to train it he says there isn't anything he can train me in. So, what happened?

The funny thing is....honestly I dont think it's going to matter what skills you pick if your going to go Jedi. Your Jedi skills should be better than any +20 you may get. The only way it will matter (my opinion again) is if you are just going to make a FS hybrid.

anyone know if this is this case? I was in the village before the guides. I think I fubared and since u can't surrender....I ended up with 21 of the 24 boxes....and 2 full treeutterly useless to jedi later (by the guides) And should have done a different quest to unlock heightened senses....If I have to wait the entire phase of the village can I train in another tree more useful?

combat prowess: 3/0/4/0

Crafting Mastery: 0/0/0/4

Ranged Defenses: 4/4/2/0

Hey Ithiris -> Really great job on this!

I don't have the play time to grind madly. You already answered that its probably likely we will be able to do the next quest in the next phase without training to box 4 on the previous unlocked branch.

My question is... will I be able to get trained in on say combat prowess: ranged accuracyif I have it unlocked, but the village is in phase 4?

My goal is to do usual SWG gaming, but visit the village just to do the mission that unlocks the next branch, then leave. I will accumulate normal XP so that I will have enough for opening the next novice box, then focus on grinding xp to convert. When I have sufficient XP, I'd like to be able to come back to the village and train in those that I have now got enough force xp for. But will Noldan train me in on boxes that are not part of the phase the village is currently in?

Any assistance would be appreciated!

I believe so yes, it would be stupid of SoE to do otherwise, but we'll find out for certain in a couple of weeks time!

Yea im another person who just tried 2 have fun and do what i wanted 2 in the village now Im screwed thnx to SOE. If they were only going 2 let the NPC's give u specific slots the NPC's should of told you what branch you were opening up 2 work on. Now im stuck doing Whips missions and found out after reading the Great post here that i really wanted the Captains Missions. Keep up the good work SOE

Aye! Me too, I didn't realize that they pre-picked what branches per phase. However, i am not too worried about it as none of these branches are useful to a jedi anyway. Only if you plan on keeping a "normal" char with force enhancements does it matter what branches you pick. If you are grinding jedi, then only pick the branches you can grind (i.e. combat profs do combat/reflex branches, crafters do craft etc..). It doesn't really matter which branch just fill it and move on to the next and you will get to exit quests. As a padawan you are essentially a newbie anyway and none of these will help you out.

My question is if anyone knows when the next phase shift is? As in a date. I assume it'll be exactly 3 weeks from the date of pub10 launch?

Good luck!

It's irritating that you can't undo talking to someone even if you haven't done any of the quests for them yet ... guess it's another way to slow people down ... being a dancer and TKM - ranged accuracy isn't going to help much.

Ranged accuracy or not.. at one point in time you might change the template and actually use it...
