Hmm...how do you do the Jedi Temple POI on Datooine? Drakka won't talk to me even when I'm not an IMP, and all I got was a sith holocron from Luvik.

I don't know what to say, I'm still alittle confused. I'm a MCH/MBH. I have no melee skills to speak of. When I evision a jedi, I see someone with a lightsaber in the thick of it. I don't see jedi running around using ranged weapons and such. Sooo....

Am I hurting my jedi's capability by mastering professions other than those that directly benefit a jedi who wields a lightsaber? Do I need to be focusing on swordsman, tkm, mdoc(for healing?). Have I wasted my time mastering professions that I won't use when my character becomes a jedi?

Before all of the changes, I thought you just picked a couple professions you liked and unlocked your FS slot and began your new jedi. Now it seems as though you keep your existing character and thier abilities, and tack on some jedi stuff from there. Those that were lucky enough to master melee/healing professions end up with an advantage in the effectiveness of thier jedi. Is there something I'm missing?; because I've read through the entire post and haven't really seen this discussed.

What's the point of mastering rifleman/carb/mbh/commando/(insert any profession other thanhealing/melee here)if, in the end, you don't even use the those skills once you get your lightsaber and robe (who needs armor anymore?).

I'm finally into the village and before I begin the task of picking branches, I'd love some advise here. [*thankfully, I still have my respec token, and will definitely be using it, if indeed, I'm *gimping* my jedi by staying with a ranged/mch template*]

Thank you for any advise you can offer here!!!

odog4eva: I had the same problem. However, I found a rebel near the poi and became 'declared'. When I returned, she started me on the missions. I'm not sure what you will have to do if you can't become a 'rebel'. Perhaps someone else can chime in, but you might try the shady looking character near the actual ruins outside of the cave/waterfall. He seems like the 'darkside' version to get the themepark badge.

Re jedi temple Dantooine,

ThePOI is the temple itself the big green square on the overhead map just run around on it until you get the badge.

The darkside guy isnt necessary for the badge and if youre reb aligned you cant do his last mission anyway.

Hope this helps

Question

I have unlocked Ranged Accuracy, but it does not show up under my professions.. How do I train in this? I can go to all professions and see them all (the force boxes) but it doesn't show anyof my exp that could be coverted towards getting the novicebox filled.. I'm a master BH and have over 100k of exp in combat.. Who do i need to talk to in order to convert the exp to force exp?

Doesmy questionmake sence?

To answere your question eDMAN3000: So I am not waisting time in the wrong prof. I was told I had to be melee to switch over to jedi. Also I never claimed to be"laid back" so don't speak for me.

If you can't answere the question shut up and move along, we are trying to get information if you can't handle that, TO F'ingBAD no one is holding a gun to your head and telling you to reply with a smart A$$ response.

Iam a master pistoleer and have been master scout and master entertainer in the past but do not have any badges for either of them? Is there an explanation for this?? Will this affect my fs chances?

There really isn't any "wrong" profession here. It all depends on what you want to do. If you go with a melee class the skills you gain (such as general melee [whatever], etc.) will be more directly benificial to you as a jedi. On the other hand, having some ranged skills could be a big boon if you're attacked by a bounty hunter as a new padawan. (As the bounty hunters are likely to do everything they can to stay out of range of your saber.) They both have their plusses and minuses, and any choice is perfectly workable.

Chances are you're still in your respec period. Until you're no longer able to respec (except for your token respec), you will not gain any profession badges. And unfortunately, until you do gain at least one profession badge, you will not be able to attain fs.
