Thread: Has Anyone Completed Phase III Melee Accuracy Since the CU???

I posted about this in a thread yesterday or the day before. We completed this quest twice out of three attempts on TC-Prime over the weekend (we are in Phase 3 there). The Sith were lvl 76 and 77. The turrets hit hard, have huge range, and the one inside shoots through the walls and you can only shoot back if you are directly in front of the base. Melee people should grab adv. laser rifles to assist in the turret takedown. The turrets can hit up to 100 m away.


The big problem now is the walking speed of the Sith commander and his reluctance to go up anything steep. We tried to take him over a steep ridge multiple times and wasted a lot of time in the process. This resulted in ourfailing the quest on our first attempt. We got just inside 500 m to go and the commander died after about an hour of escort. You really need to scout out a course that involves no steep terrain. Look for ravines and passagesbefore you start the quest. Your best route won't be a straight line. The movement speed is so slow that you will most likely not complete this quest if the base is beyond 3km from the Village. We were fortunate enough to have a base only 2.2 km away and finished the takedown/escort in about 45 minutes covering a route we had thoroughly scouted.


Only 2 people can get credit for the quest on each successful attempt. We had 4 people needing to complete the quest in the group and had to complete it successfully twice to get credit for everyone.


You only need about 4 people in your group to complete the quest, three if you're good. After taking down the turrets and the shield you can stick 3 people on killing the Sith and 1 person to capture the commander. When you take the shields down you will get 2 or 3 waves (sorry I didn't count at the time) of Sith attacking you outside the base. There seemed to be 4-6Sith perwave, but could have been more. Once the commander is capturedyou have 3 people to play sweeper or clear the way for the person escorting the commander. The attacks by the Sith trying to free the commander after you leave the area of the campusually only involve 1 or 2Sith at a time that will con green to a lvl 80. One or two sweepers are more than enough to keep the Sith from getting to the commander.

Check the possible locations for bases in the SE quadrant of the map. There is a list of them in the thread with all the phase info. Find the name of that base on your server, then farm frequency code disks until you get one converted into a remote for the base. Not every potential base location has a base on it, and the bases are all different based on your server.

I'm not sure I wanna do this quest now, because I don't wanna get screwed out of having to wait another 3 weeks for a new phase.
