Add the anti-decay kit to your current saber if you wish and each time you craft a better one simply
destroy the saber to get the anti-decay kit back and use it again. Here is a post by one of he devs
that should suffice in "officialy" answering your question:
Quick follow-up to this:
- Applying an anti-decay kit to a lightsaber will prevent the crystals inside from decaying.
- You can remove the crystals.
- You can get an anti-decay kit back if you delete the lightsaber you applied it to.

Is the Anti Decay Kit reusable? Because I want to know if I should put premium pearl into my first gen saber and then ADK. If I will lose my ADK I don't want to do that.

When you apply the ADK to an item. That item will not decay no matter what. To get the ADK back you must destroy that item by selecting, "destroy" from radial menu. Then the ADK is returned to your inventory.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if there isany point (and if it is a good idea) to use the veteran reward anti decay kit on the lightsaber you are currently using. Does it keep the crystals from decaying? Thanks.
