Thread: why am i dieing using nades

I'm TKM w/ some scout (4000) and Medic (0230) and Commando 4000. I use Imp dets and rarely see white. My comp is only 65-70%. Guess it IS about the Melee Def (mine is only 69)and UA Toughness
(Also, take on Stalkers or lv 132 $5k quenkers. better XP)

Unless they have changed the strength of the Giant Baz Nitch in the last 3 months this is most likely due to a degraded piece of armor. Although I have not tested the grenade option I know for a fact Iused tofanshot a baz nitch lair down as just a Master Pistoleer, and even with a full spawn Ineversaw white.

I was going through the same thing. I just switched my template from Master rifles/ Commando 4/0/0/0 to TKM Commando 4/0/0/0, It made all the difference.
The switch kind of sucks if you have no brawler as Unarmed 3 to novice is the most boring grind in the game IMO.

well i dropped carbineer for TK.. almost doen grinding for that gonna make it 0444. NO i dont really care about the meditate feature. I know how you TKM love your profession, but I feel the same way about Rifleman and wont give that up unitl i need it for jedi skills. so yes as soon as i got 0004 TK i notice i can survive against many MOB's. It WAS the Melee Def. after i Get 0444 TK i'l have that, master rifleman, commando 4000, combat prowess 4401, and enhanced reflexs 0400... DO have all six i need unlocked. just gonna grind for the force exp then give up probably commando to get the FS skills i'll need left over. with 0400 enhanced reflex it'll put my melee def at 129. it is currently 109 with 0004 TK. and already i notice a difference. and to the one who asked, NO i'm not a wookie,, I was dying cause melee def too low

I've been doing it while holding my trusty CDEF rifle You might find that having some Pilkatta Pie (dodge food) helps alot too, good luck!

because grenades suck, and you get blasted from the grenade if you get to close... IE nades suck
WRONG. nades are the fastest grind in this game, u are getting hurt because u are rifleman and not melee. You cannot tank well enough to stand there with rifleman, pick up some melee stuff and do giant baznitches on dath if all you want to do is get fs xp. You can cap 300k combat xp 3 times per buff with baznitches and thermals. 3 caps of 300k combat xp in one buff = 300k force xp

ure in the nades dmg range, it also dmgs ur armor and if u have a bike out near it

I was partial commando, TKM when I did my grenade grind. I noticed that I got mauled when I was throwing grenades whilst toting around my flamethrower. As soon as I unequipped it, I as good as gold. They barely touched me. Having a combat class with good defense is a must for grenading. Good armor just isn't enough.

The reason is is because your a master rifleman, we have very very low defences and no real melee defence, i tried it as master rifle and died, you need an elite melee proffesion, i strongly advise mastering tk for meditation, once i mastered tk i did 12 days of 1 buff session a day nades,im done with the village tomorrow.
