well the rest of us still doing the nade would eb very upset, that's the whole point of spending money on nades, pups and armor, to gain FS exp fast. some oof us have bee doing this since the first village patch in august. there is no reason to fix it, nades aren't a ranged weapon , heavy weapon, or a melee weapon. they are a thrown weapons.. its take about 4 seconds to throw each one. keep it the way it is , use nades to kill something, gain nothing but combat exp...nothing else, nothing new.

I thought they already fixed the combat xp gained from grenades in this past patch?

No, what's to fix? Nothing's broken.

We are talking about Imperial Detonators. There has been no change to Nade grind i tested this my self yesterday.

Getting the resource to build this on your own and the time it takes is more time consuming. I think...

Build your own grenades.

Give resources to a Weaponsmith, they give you schems, you make subcomponents in an Equipment factory, you give those to Weaponsmith again, get final grenade schem, crank out grenades in your factory.

Have 2 factories, or for the most efficient means of cranking them out, 3 factories - use 1 to build the first subcomponent. When it's done with the 1000, put them into the input hopper. Start the other 2 at the same time. As they finish subcomponents, put them into the input hopper of the first factory. The first factory will be cranking out TONS of grenades before you know it.

The actual cost of resources for 1000 grenades is a LOT less than buying them retail.

They are kind of annoying to make in serious quantities, which is why WS's charge quite a bit for them. That, and the fact that FS grinders are willing to pay a lot just to get a few crates.

Anyways, trust me. Spend some cash on a couple of harvesters, BER10's are the most efficient cost-wise (but BER13's dig up more/hold more), and pull up the resources yourself. You'll save millions of credits.

Only buy grenades retail when you've got to finish up a buff session and you just need an extra couple of crates. Otherwise you're spending way too much on grenades.

Can a non ws put a schematic like that into a factory? I haven't tried in a long time but when I was a doctor I made a schematic for a friend, he couldn't use it because he didn't have the med crafting ability to make that component.

I would hate to gather all the stuff needed and then find I can't get the schematic.

It always comes down to grinding.

i only have one response....

So what's your point?

I don't care about people getting jedi, lets face it 12 months from now, if things keep going as they are PvP will destroy the game.

I have issue with the fact that a Day 1 noob can get jedi on week 18.

Jedi should be difficult to get - nade grinding is lame.

And yes I have a jedi, and no I didn't use nades.

Can you explain this to me?

1 Crate = 25 set of grenades
5 hits per 1 set of grenade
8 sets of granades per lair
2.5 lairs per XP cap
4 Caps per buff cycle
1225,000 XP per branch

I just picked up 11 fresh crates of nades. I agree with lines 1-3. That's about right. If I get 2 missions on dath for baz nitches, I can KD the first baz nitch, throw a nade while it's down, kill it with TKM, get anywhere from 1k-2k combat xp. Repeat with the next one. Throw nades at the lair, pop the spawn. Repeat, until done. 6k-12k combat on the baz niches and around 5k combat xp on the lair = anywhere from 11k to 17k combat xp per lair. 17k*2.5 is 24.5k combat xp. How are you achieving combat xp cap in 2.5 lairs? The most combat xp I got on one creature was around 2.5k and that was becasue I managed to land 2 nades on it in the same fight. If I continue this as I go and run into a nice high level wild spawn, I may approach the combat xp cap in a buff session. Last night I used about 3 crates of imp dets with powerups. But 4 caps in a buff cycle? Not to mention the trips to and from the village everytime that cap hits? Fill me in on the secret.

Mind You I am still not getting the max and no where near able to hit 400fs in a buff session more like 150 fs in a buff so far but thats beside the point.

first off the larger the group you are in when you get the mission the more Baz Nitches will spawn. second you have to do the milk method. Get 2 missions goto the first lair STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF IT smackit till you have 5 or more baz nitches around you. then chuck grenades non stop at the lair till they all die. now with luck you should kill roughly 10 baz nitches. I get 3500 + 350 roughly per one. so thats roughly 4k * 10

so we are at 40k then you head over to the second Mission and do the exact same thing now you are at 80+ now head back over to mission spot 1 and you get to do it again.. once done head over to mission 2 and you guessed it repeat.. I get anywhere from 190k up per 2 missions. depends so much is luck like I am carbineer so if there are nightsister rangers/stalkers around I just run or die anyway if your in a smaller group you dont get anywhere near as many baz nitches per mission..

destroying the actuall lair is optional I do sometimes for the extra 4k but if your running slow on killing the baz nitches skip lair number 1 and go finish mission 2 before you fail it..

It all makes sense now. Just be prepared to buy a few extra sets of armor then... Noted.

You guys need to learn how to milk a lair, if i work hard i can cap about once every hour, 7 buff sessions would probably net me 700K FS xp then

The trick is milking the lairs, and only killing the nitches with nades. If you can't do both then you are depriving yourself of valuable XP.

For info, if you milk and only use nades, 2 Baz nitch lairs grant around 300K combat xp.

um i dont know what kind nades you are using, but i buy my thermals for 30k a crete, slice them at 50k per crete, buy a crete of 10 pups for 3k. with all that it only takes me between 3-4 nades per lair , not 8. am i doing something right?
