I've been playing since the beginning, have two veteran FS characters...between them I've done almost everything (except gotten through the Corvette intact) and it's time to move on. My Rebel is the closest, but some day, I might want to have a Dark Jedi too. I've stuck with this game through it's ups and downs, and it's the natural progression...that's why I want it. Want to beat the game!

Threads like this always restore my faith in the game, if I've had a bad night of grinding or something. But today I'm happy, and after reading this I'm even happier.
As for my reasons for Jedi, they are I suppose a big combination:
1/I've done pretty much everything else, and want to try something new.
2/I want a long-term goal to keep playing for, getting Jedi in 1-3 weeks would be stupid as the fun and hard work wouldn't mean anything.
3/I'm a huge SW "geek"(I guess) and love Jedi.
4/I love RPing, and Jedi is the holy grail of RPing.
Whatever your reasons, good luck to everyone with the grind. These people who say Jedi is easy to get need a slap, the people like me who had ZERO unlocks have had to work our butts off, and deserve our reward, and at least some respect.

Yeah man, no unlocks sucks. I'm still plowing through it though...
1. I want to be able to compete on the same lvl as most of the "jebi" I have met.
2. Sabre of course
3. Get into the GCW and do some dmg

Two reasons for me
1. Roleplay, my character's storyline is going toward Jedi so that's my first reason.
2. Second character slot.

Once I maxed out my Rifle and Scout XP (Ranger) I figured I might as well cash in the excess XP. Get paid for what I was going to be doing anyway, so to speak. I don't want a lightsaber, just the (broken) ranged FS skills (cheaper and more permanant than rifle speed tapes) and the free character unlock. I've always enjoyed crafting and having an alt (KandyKane) plus the free character means 19 lots for harvesters and plenty of skill points for merchant and a couple crafting professions.
My end game goal is a billion creds (if possible). Having a self sufficient crafting operation and mad creature harvesting skills seems the best path to achieving that.

I am re-creating an old favorite Star Wars RPG (D6 version) character. I always wanted to roleplay a Jedi (among other Star Wars characters) in an MMORPG, so I'm going to do it.
