Hey the nade thing is cool, I use c12 with powerups. However, I choose to hit the 300K mark nading and shooting. I found out that rancors go down with nades as well. My back pack is loaded down with 12 crates of nades 15 PuPs and food. I forego all looting but still grab hide and meat after the lair is finished. With BH I grind off 300K casually as I have a life outside this game. So my turn rate is slow but sizeable. I can manage one per night, or every other night when I trade 300K and what I have capped for weapons usually 2 weapons. The quickest way I get weapon XP is with pistols and LLC, carbines is a tag along but effective. Forget BH missions too long. With combat prowess mastered my killing speed and accuracy is ill. Soloing ancient rancors is not a problem. Nitch lairs go in a matter of two minutes if I use the LLC. HTH...

Hmm. I was going to go with Pikeman...

I didn't think Pikeman would get nerfed after the CU, due to its nice Blocking abilities, AoF Knockdown, AoF Dizzy, and such.

So can someone please in depth describe how I 'nade grind?

It would help quite a bit.

pretty much as simple as buying a lot of grenades (c-12 if you're not commando but it's slower or Imperial Detinators if you're a cammando) then just throwing them at creatures and lairs to kill them.

The common way is to join a solo group, go to Dath, grab 2 Giant Baz Nitch missions that are near eachother. Then go to one kill the first wave and all but one of the second wave then go to the second one and repeat. If you did it right you can go back to the first one and have an entire new spawn to kill. Repeat til the lairs stop producing creatures to kill. Now blow up the lair with grenades.

grenades are combat xp.

If you have an elite combat profession you have a cap of 300k

The only difference between commando and not is the commando is much better with grenades. The commando hits more often, uses more powerful grenades, throws them faster so they make more xp.

Combat xp is a 3:1 ratio so 300k cap is 100k combat xp.

Weapons xp is a 30:1 ratio so 900k cap is 30k xp. (fixed, thanks typed it quick)

It generaly takes 1.5-2.5 hours to cap weapon xp depending on hunting style and attack type.

It generaly takes 1 - 2 hours to cap combat xp using grenades depending on if you have commando or not.

Basicly if you go Commando and use Grenades you'll be able to cap 2 to 3 times as often and trade in the xp for 10x the value. Meaning you're getting FS xp at 20 to 30 times the speed of what you get with weapons xp (10-15 times the speed if you count in the fact you get some combat xp while using weapons xp)

At the current time, I think I'll stick with Pikeman, then maybe some Scout Trees for the Hunting XP.

I think I used the words "depending on hunting style and attack type" for a reason. Also, I was typing this for a person that doesn't know what kind of xp grenades get you, Do you think they can cap 2 professions in 1.5 hours? Should I tell them that they can? I think I should tell them the truth for a normal player and not someone with the money for the best items to make the most xp as well as most likely run an overpowered template just for the reasons that it brings you more xp.

My current build is Master Pistols, Master Musician, Master Ent. I do 1.5 caps per buff session so I'm only .5 behind you.

I'm sure your swordsman/tka or whatever beefed up template you use makes xp faster.
