I really think this is the sort of thing missing in the game. EQ has really tough enemies you need 100 people to kill. Personally I don't play, but my roomate does, and it's amazing. People work in groups for no gaurantee of any items at all. I think SWG is a really greedy game in the communtiy. I learned fast that fighting solo has better benifits, and makes money 100x faster.

I thought it was the coolest thing landing on Dantooine Mining outpost and seeing a Jedi NPC with huge ham, and everyone fighting him not for the loot, but for merely fun. I had a blast, and wish with the new expansions there is a little more functionality with needing groups. There should also be restricted areas for people who havn't killed certain bosses. Example: you can't access Corvette without defeating the Warren.

I guess we will all see soon with what the new expansion leads us too. But for now you get my......

I will sign this petition and allow you to attack Lord Vader. But he should be undefeatable even if you had 100-200 pc's attacking him. This game is set in a period of time and Vadar has a destiny to die while killing his master.

He didn't kill Obi Wan. He willingly surrendered to the Force.

My opinion is that Vader was afraid of Obi Wan.He hid in plain sight with no force masking planet or any of that stuff, and Vader never came after him. We know it was Obi Wan who put Vader in that suit in the first place.

I don't think the Jundland Wastes on Tatooine are exactly in plain sight, do you? Seriously..outer rim planet, covered in desert, very few lifeforms..almost sounds like another Jedi Master, doesn't it? Just throw in a swamp, a strong Dark Side presence and voila..Yoda.

Considering that Vader is supposed to be able to feel Jedi, yes that's hiding in plain sight. Futher, he hid RIGHT NEXT TO VADER'S MOM'S HOME.

Tatooine hides no one's force signature.

And how often did Vader go to Tatooine? He was quite busy fulfilling the wishes of the Emperor, and given that, perhaps it wasn't on his 'To Do' list.

He found time to supposedly almost single-handedly wipe out the Jedi Order one at a time across the Galaxy. But he left Obi Wan alone...

Like I said, it's just my opinion, but I think he was afraid of Obi. Even in episode two he said Obi Wan was as wise as Master Yoda and as powerful as Master Windu.

All the more reason for Vader to not focus upon it.

remember the Dark Side you empasize emotions. Using Vaders bad memories of the place to cloud his judgement on if it needed to be searched seems reasonable. And besides they sense disturbances in the force. If you do very little there is very little to find...and until a certain ship flew by why the heck would Vader /want/ to go to Tatooine?

I think it's a great idea to have Vader appear randomly throughout the galaxy enforcing the Emporer's will.
