that is progressed by Combat Xp, Nades is Commando's branch for this. Flame, Acid, or
Beam weapons can't be changed to Combat xp, those need to be heavy weapon xp.
The use of nades to grind may or not be an exploit depending on who you ask, but for a
Commando, it was hurting the profession. Timers could not be improved because it would
only lead to more use by nade grinders.
The only people upset are those grinding, the Commandos are pleased. So, what does
this mean? Looks like a good change to help a profession. Yes, I'm in the Village too, only
have 3 branches open but I don't mind the change to nade combat xp because I did'nt use
nades to grind anyway.

I'm trying to grind as CL 5, keeping my crafting professions, and the XP I'm getting is about 475 pistols xp, and 47 combat xp, this is going to be a real drag ![]()
So yeah, think I will have to start using grenades now to even things up ![]()

it is in TC notes too so no it isnt a rumor and the rate right now is 3:1
I was one of the first people on the forum to say it, and I'll say it again.
All they had to do was change grenades to heavy weapon XP. As it stands now the grind goes much too fast by using grenades and although SOMETHING needed to be done, I don't feel that this was the right something.
Simply changing the XP type that grenades give would have solved alot of problems for everyone.
