The game actually takes place between episodes IV and V, but as for your other points, I just think making BH an end-game profession all of a sudden would be just as bad if not worse than the current Jedi problem, because so many people are BH's so to power them up would just make it worse I think
I think it would make it more fun . Yea it will displace some but just boot htem to the end game . There are already a ton of jedi out there so booting a ton of bhs to the new bh template would be a good offset .
Or do my other idea and revamp the path to jedi and make a theme park that you have to do based around being a jedi where once you are done your a padawan . Get rid of that stuipd force exp. I don't see why using a blaster or a nade is going to make me be able to use a saber . Take that out and start you from the start as a padawan and start you at day one of being hunted.. Make each box of jedi hood harder to get . Each skill twice as much jedi exp to offset not having to get fs exp . Then give higher rewards for bhs when they kill jedi . Set up a detention center like in ultima online where u are put in a holding cell for x amount of time and have your current boxes reset to 0exp .
I think this is fair . It takes away limiting who can be a jedi thus letting newbies go down the road with out making them wait a year (Cause i will tell u this much if that was the case i would never have bought the game ) it will give jedi something to do .
Lets be real the problem with this game is not that there are too many jedi in citys . Its that there is nothing for them or others to do but go to the citys . I see nothing but grinding in this gam e . They need to put in fun quests and fun areas to go into . The theme parks are a joke Its go here kill this or get this and come back . This is not fun . They need to put content in this game . They need to take some devs from eq2 and send them here
