Thread: Logout for 3 days = Instant Old Man?

Wow, it's funny. After the old man visit for me, I didn't spend any money on shuttles, I just drove around for a bit, and in about an hour, they jumped me. Just goes to show, that wasting money on shuttles, and logging in and out, in and out, does absolutely nothing. It's just because people do that stuff, and then see the old man or sith pop up, that they think "Oh! That's how you can get them to spawn faster!", when in actuality, they probably would have spawned at that time anyway, no matter what you did (unless you weren't logged in or were in any NPC cities).

yep, did the same for sith and they came in about2 hours after old man visit

yes he will, he visteted me in the middle of the imp outpost on dant with 3 poeple there, it was only the first day, i dont know why poeple are saying this

You can get jumped by them anywhere, as long as you're not in an NPC city. You can even get jumped by them on Kashyyyk, although I suggest not going there while you wait. If they jump you there, then more likely than not, the waypoint to the sith camp will be in a place that is unaccessible.

u can be visited in an NPC city. if the mining outpost on dant counts as one, i saw a guy get visited right before he boarded a shuttle. and heh two old men visited my buddy in our town at once. and he got a double sith spawn too haha.

I remember my first visit...I was in the solo group killing Janta lair, than some NPC approached me. I didn't pay attention to him, i killed lair and drove away. Than it him me lol.

28 hours after turning 'glowy' i'm in the middle of a fight with a Kaadu whenI suddenly see this smartly dressed dude come charging towards me. I think is this the Kaadu Fairy Godfather? Has he come to help theKaadu to kick my ass? He stands there babbling that he wants to talk to me.......cant the old bugger see im in a life and death struggle with a 7 foot tall duck?
Im standing there thinking who is this weirdo? So after the fight I talk to him. He asks me if I have ever considered that I might have a connection with the force.....yadda....yadda.....yadda ....... heres a force crystal for talking to a lonely old weirdo and promptly disappears. The old git never mentioned I'd have two Sith Shadow Outlaws sitting on my doorstep 12 hours later (one CL77, One CL75 - Im CL21 :-P)
So after a quick chat with a friendly CL80 BH in the vacinity we finally get the gypsies off my front porch and go get rid of the other 3 in a caravan 800m away before they come and squat in my house too.
I've decided I dont like the old dude......he's trouble and associates with squatters
Anyway after a quick trip to a village on Dathomir (with real smog problems I might add) I discover im Force Sensitive!!!! Was quite funny getting all the PM's from people asking how a CL21 character had managed to sneak into the village :-P
Anyways I've decided I best start some serious grinding to CL80 now to do 6 pointless missions to start the grind to Jedi Initiate. Hope Yoda forgives me for the billions of innocent animals im gonna be forced to kill just to wield a lightsabre.

the old man will go in player citys, just not big citys like theed, kadara, cnet, etc. best bet when u get glowly wait till server reset, log in, shuttle back and forth to like a player city and every time u land wait 5min. and norm he will pop up. thats how a few of my buddys did it. i personally didnt care when he came for me, i was going home to go afk i shuttled in my citty then i got ambushed by 2 old men.. i was like sweet. more u wait for him longer and more inpatiant it seems.
