Thank you for the reply.
I am hoping that you mean "Yes, I can fill up a 7th tree later in the life of my jedi and then drop a tree as long as I keep 6 full trees." I would really like to change two of my FS skills but I do not want to wait to unlock him. That is why I asked, I want to be able to change my FS skills later in the career of my jedi.

You can't convert Jedi xp though, so you'll need to make sure you either have the xp banked or keep some non-jedi skills so you can get the xp later.

I did the patrol quest and was able to start the combat prowless and ehanced senses skill trees, In combat prowless im 4000 and in enhanced senses the bottom row are all green But I cant train in anything else although I have enough xp to train. The captain told me to talk to D' something and he said that he would train me in melee, Who do i have to talk to, to train me in the other ranged columns. speed, defence etc.
Please dont say read the sticky my head hurts from the lack of sleep Ive been grinding non stop the last 4 days.

You can only train in the row you have finished the quest for. Talk to Paemos and see which ones you can train.

Looks like I need to wait until phase 4 to do ranged speed.Is there a cap on FS xp you can bank?

the cap is around 5 mil or so - enough xp to train all 4 trees, so you can just bank it all now and use it when you unlock

If you unlock teh trees but do not fill them in the phase that you unlocked.... can you fill them in any phase as long as they have been unlocked???
A friend of mine said you cant, but he wasnt sure if he had skill points available.

once you unlock a branch by doing the quest in the phase, you can fill the boxes and train in them at any time.

Yes, you can fill your boxes later.
AND! this is important... you can convert your XP before the branch is unlocked and store it. Yes, I said BEFORE.
