I was in a rush to get FS and get to the village because it seemed like I might miss out on the opportunity, like if something changed I would regret it. But after I got just a couple novice boxes I didn't really think of grinding xp at all, just casually playing the game and cashing in whenever was fine for me. That lasted for about 3 months and I was happy. But now with the opportunity to respec and that double xp week, it's also an opportunity to create a character specifically designed for getting xp, and that's an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Again, I don't want to miss a chance and regret it. I think things will calm down soon.

As far as getting Padawan and hating it, by the time I get there about half the population of people playing will be some sort of jedi. Heck, from what I'm seeing 1/4 of the players already are Jedi, and about half of the remainder are grinding village. Unless you're a crafter or a noob, you're in the minority if you're not spending all your Phase IV time in the village killing Sith.

Dude as soon as i get jedi im going straight on the terms as the only true way to grind jedi is to be in a hunting group.Some of the jedi i hunt with have grinded ridiculous xp in a matter of days and are whizzing through.So no mater what the case you can expect me on the terms even without novice LS.
