Really a great post and as has been said - it's nice to hear some positive comments on the forums. Like you I decided not to rush the grind and am slowly filling up boxes on the trees I've unlocked. I lucked out and joined an awesome guild about 2 weeks ago and when they found out I was going through the village I had probably 6 or 7 guildmates tell me to let them know when my exit quest came and they'd be there to help out! That's awesome as I was a little worried that I'd have a hard time finding help.

Overall I think you're right about the jedi grind being different. One of my guildmates is a Padawan and coming close to his Knight trials but he said the same thing - the jedi grind is long but it's different from the FS grind. First off - you have a lightsaber. For me, personally, I may need a valium or something to calm me down when I see my toon light that thing up for the first time (training saber or not, I won't care). Second, it's the whole - you are being hunted aspect that really gets my attention and I think makes the game more challenging and exciting.

And again, personal bias here, I'm not worried that Jedi is a long grind. Two reasons - I don't want BH's all over my door so I'll be patient watch my visibility and just have fun with it (I think that element of being hunted, etc...is actually what the GCW is missing right now). Second - my second character slot will open after Padawan and I can customize a new toon and helper for my Jedi toon.

So congrats again to finishing the village - and thanks also for a positive post that helps bring encouragement and some excitement back to the game!

I usually do some slicing or hunt with guildies generally mess around, before going to wail on Rancors for 3 hours again!

Great post, good advice as i will graduate sometime today, funny story last time i helped with an exit quest on dant there was an Imp base about 50 meters behind the camp, someone pulled mel to the atst which tanked him for a bit , unfortunatly the quester had perashed. on our second attempt a DJM spawned and had a feild day with a few of the thugs and all of the imp troops at the base, 1 of our members took mel off on a trip and hid in a house theat mel couldnt get into. that was like the 5th exit quest i have been on and they keep getting better every time.

Hehe, yeah, every trip to Mellichae is different. It truly is fun. And thanks for all the positive comments guys, I just know it gets so old seeing everybody complain, and its true what they say about forums.....most of the people don't post, or post much anyways , and they are the ones enjoying the game. We can't forget that its just that....a game.

I read and post because I'm at work. If I'm not at work, I'm playing the game. If I'm not playing the game, it's because my wife made me stop.

6-8 weeks and counting to Mellichae!

I unlocked Jedi 10 days ago

I hated every moment of the FS grind, (no free unlock) ...

I remember how many people were saying jedi grind is worst ! False! False!

Its hard, slow, dangerous, specially till you hit XX3X, but at least you feel you are making progress with each slot !

and my god ! no more trip to this village I would tear appart with a cdef pistol if I could !

Can I join this club? I already got the mug. During slow times at work, this is the only time I post.

most importantly REMEMBER your lightsaber is nothing but a glow stick

do not feel the need to show it off to your friends, guildies, etc.

you will be hunted and killed for messing around

please please please read the threads on visibility
