Thread: Phase 1 Persuasion Quest- can someone help me out on this?

What I did was craft a cure for the highest rated illness and didn't take any notice of residuals. The residuals always seemed to be lower than the primary cure so I just started at the top and worked my way the problems. Got all 15 patients cured that way. Now I just have to remember to water my plant every day...

I think you are looking at the wrong schematic. If you are doing the village quest, you are crafting the "experimental cure" schem (I think that's what its called). This is a special mission schematic which should appear on your crafting screen only if you have accepted the village healing mission. The only ingredients are flora (any type) and metal (any type). I think you are looking at component schems for making stimpacks or cure disease packs?, which are are only used on players. Also, you don't need a factory for the quest cures, just a food and chemical crafting station.

I've accepted the quest as a master medic. I have the schemes for the cures because I bought them. I cut out the expirimenting part because I don't have the skills. What I have in my datapad are schemes for things like "vomiting" "loss of vision" etc. I cut out the middleman, thats all, and now i cant find the flipping resources to make the stuff. I dont have the time or desire to grind doc crafting so I can stat experimenting....

I'll keep looking i guess and try some similar ingredients

I believe it's called an 'experimental biological counteragent'. I guess you could buy the finished cures from someone but not the schematics.

If anyone on Chimaera needs any help with this quest, just drop me a mail!

Best thing I can recommend for you mate is to get the high quality resources- metal with OQ over 950 and food with PE over 950 and ask a master doc that's taking the quest to craft the cures for you. I had to ask for some help from other docs and most of them were happy to help. Just tell them what you need and trade them the resources. Good luck!

I would just grind out doc0004, it makes the quest much easier and actually fun to do. I grinded doc0004 from novie medic in4 days (casual playing about 3 hrs a night). Since you already have master medic, the crafting part should be easy.. go to the doc/medic forums and find a macro and you'll be set. Trust me the time and effort grinding doc0004 is well worth it when you do the quest.

This is quite unbelievable. I remember my resources were not nearly as good as yours andit was easier to get internal bleeding than fever, lol. Anyway, how are you experimenting and what are you using? I used a +14.xx food/chem craft tool and when I experiment on internal bleeding, I would always fill the top line minus 2 or 3. More often than not, you should get a great/amazing success (especially with those uber resources you're using) then dump the remaining exp points into that top line. Bam! Internal bleeding cured. Do NOT max the top line from scratch ever, it always seems to take a exp box or two from u when u cap a line, regardless of how well you do.

Post is a little unclear. Are the stats you gave for your flora resource, your metal resource, or both? I don't want to be insulting, but you didnt give many details. You are using a med droid with a crafting station installed so you can experiment? The reason I ask is that my resources were not quite as good as the ones you cite above and I was getting over 92% easily. So there must be something fundamentally wrong with your setup. Let me know the resource stats for both your flora and metal, the stats on your doc clothing, and how you are allocating your experimentation points and we'll try to help.

Yeah, I took both the highest quality I could find and some junk resources I had left over from other profs and whatever guild mates had lying about spare. The junk low end resources are great for low end cures such as fever and vomiting. The internal bleeding cures were pretty easy with metal OQ 1000 and flora PE 955. Although as I may have mentioned earlier in the thread, I had to borrow a docs crafting apron for those last few experimentation points. The tool I used was rubbish, although I had a good crafting station to make them with.

Like I said before, if you're having problems then just ask other docs in the tent doing the quest because they're more than likely happy to help you out with a few spare resources or some advice. That's what a MMORPG is about after all

Once again, good luck to everyone doing this pain of a quest

1000 pe flora . 971 oq steel, my top line always max's out, and best i get is 91 ahhh, +15 tool, and droid or even my +40 station same result.

You need to give both stats on both resources. Flora with 1000 pe and oq of 71 will not get you there. Similarly metal with 971 OQ and crummy PE (or is it UT, I forget) will lower your maximum obtainable experimentation.
