I was doing BH missions and the old man would show up when I stopped by the mark. I did about 6 or 7 missions before I talked to him. You'll never miss him ,he'll haunt you until you talk to him.

Reading between the lines, I am going to guess that you are Sullustan, ugly, or both. Clearly the old man ran away from you because you are fuggles.

Heh heh heh... this thread reminds me of the first days of Aurilla. No one was sure when the old man would come. Some, like my friend, picked a nice tree out in Dantooine and sat under it to twiddle their thumbs and wait (the whole damn week...) Others, like me, just went about our daily lives hoping the visit wasn't too far away. There were jokes about the old man walking the whole way from Dathomir, even the screenshot of the day was someone looking for an old man.

Then, one week after the patch went live, I was in a massive PvP battle and suddenly the old man sprang into action. Not just one, mind you. A whole army of them. While fighting rebels on Tatooine, I see an old man run by. "Whoa!!" I think, "Therehe is!!" I go dashing over, when two more zip by behind me. I turn the camera around and think "Uh... what?" You see, half the people in that battle were glowy, so we had about 20 old men running around saying "I have something important to discuss with you," The battle quickly degenerated from rebels vs. Imperials to "Whose Old Man is that?" "Is this one mine?" "Damnit!!!" with people still taking potshots at each other to keep them from going FS. I managed to find mine and talk to him before getting the heck out of there, laughing the whole way.
